Stiles walked through the school doors and looked around for Scott and Lydia. He spotted them and walked towards them, sighing as he got stares. Lydia spotted him and her eyes widened slightly as she alerted Scott. He turned around as Stiles got to them.

"Hey guys." He spoke.

"Hey, dude, as great as it is to see you, are you okay to be back here?" Scott asked.

"I'm fine. I just need to get back into my daily routine." He sighed. Scott nodded and gave him a sympathetic look as they headed into class. Stiles sat down next to Scott and puffed out as he relaxed into his chair. Suddenly, his eyes drifted to the TV in the corner of the classroom. His eyes widened as Y/N's photo was on the screen.

"Coach, can you turn that up?" he asked. Coach nodded before turning the TV up.

"Y/N Y/L/N was last seen a week ago, leaving the house of boyfriend, Stiles Stilinski." The news blared. Stiles gulped as everyone looked at him.

"Evidence found in her room suggests that the 18-year-old student committed suicide." Stiles's eyes widened at that sentence. Coach looked at him.

"Stiles...I'm so sorry, if you need to leave, you can." He nodded. Stiles gulped before grabbing his stuff and rushing out.

Stiles rushed into the police station and looked around. He rushed into his dad's office and shut the door.

"Sorry, I'm going to have to go, my son has just come in, looking like he wants to say something and he won't leave until I talk, so see you later." He sighed before hanging up.

"What's wrong-."

"Y/N isn't dead." Stiles cut him off. Stilinski rubbed his hands over his face and stood up.

"Son, I know it's hard, she was your first love, but she killed-."

"No, she didn't, I would have felt it." He shook his head. Stilinski looked at him.

"What do you mean, you would have felt it?" he asked, making Stiles sigh.

"You remember at Eichenhouse when I thought she had died because I felt it? I don't feel anything. She's not dead, dad." He choked. Stilinski sighed and looked down.

"There was a suicide note, Stiles. Unless she faked her own death, she's gone, son, I'm sorry." He admitted. Stiles's eyes wavered at those words.

"Can I see it?" he asked.

"Stiles, I don't think-."

"Dad, I need to see the note." He choked. Stilinski sighed.

"Okay. Alright. Her parents didn't want us to take anything so we left everything there. The suicide note should be on the desk." He nodded. Stiles returned it before grabbing his bag and leaving.

Stiles knocked on Y/N's door and waited for an answer. He gulped as it opened to reveal her mom.

"Hey." He hesitantly smiled.

"Hi Stiles." She sighed.

"Um, my dad sent me here, he said that Y/N's suicide note was still in her room." He gulped.

"Yeah, it is. Go on up." She nodded, letting him in. He gave her a small smile as he walked in.

"Stiles." She spoke suddenly. He looked at her.

"Do you still feel her? Can you feel her alive?" he choked. He sighed and nodded.

"She's not dead. She's as alive as ever, I can feel it." He reassured. She sighed and nodded. He returned the nod before heading up the stairs and into Y/N's room. He sighed as he walked in, putting his bag on the bed. He looked around the room, thinking about all the good times him and Y/N had shared in this room. He looked at her bookshelf and squinted his eyes as he noticed something. He walked over to it and pulled out the envelope that was stuffed between two books. He gulped as it had "Stiles" written on the front in Y/N's blue pen. He gulped as he sat on the bed and opened the envelope before taking the letter out. He took a deep breath before starting to read.

Stiles,

The first thing I want you to know is that I'm okay. That feeling I know you'll be having is right, I'm alive and I'm okay.

I needed to leave. It hurts me so much to leave you like this but if people thought I was dead, I knew they wouldn't come looking for me. And that's exactly what I need. So, I thought "screw it" and just left.

I can't protect you anymore. I know you never needed protecting, but you were nearly killed because of me. I can't protect you anymore and that's why I need to go.

I love you, Stiles. You'll always feel it because I'll always love you. I just hope you still feel the same after this.

Goodbye my love.

Y/N.

A tear left Stiles's eye. He continued to flutter his eyes over the words, reading them over and over and over as he tried to take it all in.

"This can't be it. You can't leave me like this." He mumbled, shaking his head. He looked up before standing up and looking around Y/N's room.

"Come on, Y/N, show me what else you left. Please, that can't be it." He choked, shaking his head. He stumbled back and collapsed onto the floor so that his back was against the side of Y/N's bed.

"Y/N...no..." he choked before letting the tears fall.
