Erin's POV
A few weeks later, I got my UA acceptance letter. It was such an amazing feeling when I opened my letter and saw that I was accepted to the prestigious UA high. The last month of school and summer break flew by and at last, it was my first day at UA high. On my way to UA I stopped at my favorite coffee shop. I walked in and I noticed that someone else here was wearing the UA uniform. I immediately wanted to find out who it was. When I walked over to the person in the UA uniform, I recognized a familiar face. "Hey" I said "Jalen right, we met at the entrance exam, do you remember me?" "Oh yeah you were that girl who helped me navigate UA, thanks for that, by the way" he said sincerely, "Erin, right?" "Yup thats me" I said. "So, do you maybe want to walk to school together" he said looking away timidly with a slight blush. "Sure" I said with a smile. After we both finished our coffee we walked out of the coffee shop. Without even realizing, I took his hand in mine. On our way to UA a lot of people were whispering about us because they thought that we were a cute couple. My father would totally kill me if I ever dated someone like him, but he really kind of is cu...STOP! I can't like someone like that!
Jalen's POV
Wow, I totally can't believe that she is holding my hand or that we are walking to school together. She is so pretty and smart and her quirk is totally amazing. How is one girl so perfect? Her lightening quirk is totally cool but come to think of it, she never told me what her quirk actually is. It could be something bigger than just lightning. I should totally ask her about it.
Erin's POV
"Hey" he said "so, do you remember when I told you my quirk but you never told me yours?" To be honest, I was pretty much expecting this question. "I told you to guess" I said leaning in with a cheeky smile. "Y-yeah w-well I'm bad at guessing games" he said as he turned away, flustered and blushing. "Are you really sure that you want to know what my quirk is?" I said, "you might think of me differently." I squeezed his hand and looked down. "No, I totally won't think of you differently" he said with a kind smile. "Alright, my quirk is..." I say as I look at the time on my phone. "Oh shit!" I said after seeing the time, "We have to hurry if we want to be on time for orientation!" I held his hand tightly as we hurried to UA so we wouldn't be late.
