Chapter 15: Their First Battle

Erin's POV
Ugh why does this always happen to me. Why can't villains go after other girls. This totally, I can't use my quirk because of that stupid law that prevents non pro heros to use their quirks against villains. When I saw Jalen running toward the villain I tried to stop him but my attempt failed and the villain caught sight of him. "Aw look, your little boyfriend is coming to save you" he said taunting us. Then, the villain took a swing at Jalen and thankfully he dodged. "Aw I missed, I'll just have to keep swatting at the little pest!" he said as he raised his huge fist to try and hit Jalen again. "Do that and face the consequences!" I yelled at the villain. "What consequences?" he asked with a stupid smile. Thats it this guy is really starting to piss me off. He takes another swing at Jalen and thankfully he misses again. "That's it!" I yelled as I shocked the villain with the biggest bolt of lightning that I could muster.
Villain's POV
"ARGHHHHH! YOU BITCH!" I yelled. That's it, I'm sure I'll get paid all the same even if the girl is a little damaged... or dead.
Erin's POV
"Ahhhhh!" I screamed in agony as the villain squeezed me like a stress ball. "Erin! Are you okay?!" I heard Jalen yell. "I'm fine" I said back. I have to get him to let me go. I have an idea! If I send a massive amount of heat to my palms, then I can burn him and he'll hopefully let me go. Okay time to try this. "I told you to let go of me!" I yelled as I set my boiling hot palms on the giant hand that had a tight grip on me. "Ahhh!" he yelled as he threw me to the ground. "Ow" I said after I hit the ground. "Erin!" Jalen said as he ran over to me and helped me get up. "You okay?" he asked me as he put my arm around his shoulder because I injured my ankle from the fall. "I will, once he's put behind bars" I said barely able to speak because of the pain. "There is no way that you and your little girlfriend can defeat me" the villain said in a cocky manor. "We're not dating" we both said in unison. "I'll take care of this brute" Jalen whispered to me. "No, the law states that civilians are not allowed to use their quirks against villains" I whispered back. "Well we're heros in training so that should count for something" he whispered. "I know but we don't have our hero licenses yet" I replied. "Our only hope is to go on the defensive and wait for the pros to arrive" I said. "Fine, let's make a barrier around the two of us" he said back. "Yeah" I said with a small smiled. Right before he could strike us with his huge fist, we raised a barrier and instead of hitting us his giant hand hit the barrier. When his fist hit the barrier, I felt my strength leave me and I fell to the ground. "Erin, are you sure that your okay?" Jalen asked me. "Yeah, I'll be fine" I said trying to smile. I lied, I think that bastard broke my arm. Then I heard Jalen say, "Finally the pros are here." "Fear not citizens, for I am here" I looked up to see Mr. Midoriya or should I say, the pro hero Deku.
