Chapter 16: The Hospital pt1; Jalen's Reluctant visit

Jalen's POV
After Deku defeated the villain, the police took him to jail. Erin and I lowered the barrier that we had created in order to defend ourselves from the villain. "Are you two okay?" Deku asked us. "I'm fine sir but I think Erin got injured" I said. "I'm fine" she said as she tried to smile and started to cough. "I'll get the paramedics over here to help her" Deku said as he ran over to the paramedics. I sat Erin on the ground until the paramedics could come to us. "I'll be fine Jalen, you can calm down" she said to me while holding her arm. I think when the villain squeezed her is when she probably injured it. "Did he injure your arm when he squeezed you?" I asked her. "Yeah, he broke my arm" she said calmly, "but don't worry, I'll be fine in a day or so." She's to strong for her own good, I mean how is her broken arm going to heal in a few days. She does know that it takes a couple weeks to heal a broken arm. Even with the healing quirks that we have access to, not one of those people is able to heal a broken arm in a few days. Maybe she lost more blood than I thought, because she sounds completely delusional. Then Deku came over with the paramedics and they lifted Erin onto a stretcher. "Will she be okay?" I asked them. "Don't worry kid, your girlfriend will be fine" one of the paramedics said. My question is why people keep thinking that we are dating. If someone has an answer, I would love to hear it. "W-we're not dating" I said in response. "Ah, so your friends then" the paramedic said back. "Yeah I thought that was obvious" I said with a small laugh.
Paramedic's POV
No, it was not obvious that you are just friends, I totally thought that you guys were dating.
Jalen's POV
"Do you want to ride with us to the hospital?" the paramedic asked me. "No thanks" I said as I started to walk back to my house. When I opened the door I saw my sister staring at me. "What?" I asked her. "I heard everything, and I mean everything" she said. Crap, I totally forgot that she was listening to everything. Great, now she knows everything. "So do you want me to drive you to the hospital or not" she said. "Why would I need a ride to the hospital?" I asked. "Come on, its to see Erin you big dummy" Amy said in reply.
Amy's POV
"Why would I need to see her? I mean, I just saw her?" my brother said. Wow, is he really that clueless? "Because you like her" I said a bit irritated.
Jalen's POV
"How did you know?!" I said not believing the words that had just come out of my sister's mouth. "I told you, I heard everything" she said with a smile. "Right, I totally forgot about that" I said. "Now let's get you to that hospital" she said as she dragged me out of the house and into her car.
