Purple Day 2019
National epilepsy awareness month is in November. It's a month of blowing out dying fires, and showing support to those who currently live while carrying an ember.
International Epilepsy Day is a special event which promotes awareness of epilepsy in more than 120 countries each year. It takes place on the second Monday of February every year. As of April 2019 earths population stands at 7.7 billion from what I hear. Me, plus many others are epileptic on this rotating planet in the shape of a sphere. Grant me a wish, I have one in mind that's very sincere. Did I just get one wish? Okay hold my beer. I wish epilepsy was nonexistent to us all.
Purple Day is an event with the intention to increase worldwide awareness of epilepsy, and to dispel common myths and fears of this neurological disorder. Purple day occurs annually on the 26th of March.
Coincidentally, purple is my favorite color! On purple day I got a tattoo which represents epilepsy awareness.
