So obviously this is a special occasion. The holiday of chocolate, spring and cute bunnies and chicks!! Also that whole Jesus coming back from the dead thing but for now we're gonna focus on the other, materialistic parts of Easter.

Okay so is it just me that thinks Easter is the turning point of the year. Like before it's often cold and dreary but after Easter it seems the world suddenly becomes warm and happy. Just me? Yeah.....

So when Easter comes around my spirits lift.

Was it only my family that would give things up for lent? Because every year I ask my friends what they have given up and I always get a resounding 'no'. Its always hilarious to see yourself and your family start to crack. For example this year my mom gave up crisps and chocolate. She did good with chocolate (though Easter Saturday she baught a chocolate cake accidentally so swapped deserts with me (we went out with my Nana)) not eating any. Crisps were another story multiple times she was too late to remember and the damage was already done. It's kinda funny. I gave up giving up but gave up on that! My younger brother did it for the first time this year. He gave up biscuits but there was a bake sale the next day at his school and who can resist delicious homemade cookies?!?!?!

Every one always talks about going on a hunt for their Easter eggs but do people actually do that? We got pretty close to a hunt by having a trail around the house finding our eggs. I'm just kind of curious if people actually have a hunt around their garden and don't just get handed their eggs!?!

Another Easter (kinda) tradition we had growing up was in the Easter hold we would go to this amazing farm with some friends to pet Guinea Pigs and Rabbits as well as play on the equipment. It was great and I have fond memories with our family friends there!!

That's all!
Happy Easter!!
What do you do at Easter?

Bye!!
