We found an empty bench beneath the bridge near the running river and sat and talked for a long period of time.

'I have an idea!' I said. She looked at me as if i said i was Isaac Newton.

I held her hand and got down on one knee and looked at her priceless reaction.

'Are you crazy?' She asked with her dropping jaw.

'Yes i am!'

'Oh my God!'

'I actually had a speech prepared but i used it up before so...' I said shyly.

'It's okay!'

'I love you. Endlessly. Timelessly. Unfailingly. Although I've said this before, i want you to know there's no one I'd rather spend my days with than you. Would you make me the happiest man in the world and .....'
