Hero Basic Training Part 2

I stayed frozen in place, staring into blank space. Out of the corner of my eye, Midoriya was sweating nervously while a worried Ochako was shaking him furiously, and Sparky trembling to the bones with eagerness -- Iida... just being Iida. I clenched my fist in anger and forced myself to glare at Uncle Yagi. He knew perfectly well how much Sparky terrifies Midoriya, and Midoriya's and Sparky's huge contrast in strength levels. He only gave me a mere nod, letting me know he had everything in control. Sparky... I glanced at him once more, confirming my suspicions of his murderous intent. Uncle Yagi is All Might himself -- if one of them dies, and by one of them I mean Midoriya, I'm filing All Might for manslaughter.

"The Villain Team goes in first!" He motioned to where Iida and Sparky were standing. "The timer starts in five minutes when the Hero Team sneaks in. The rest of us will watch via CCTV."

Murmurs started erupted slowly but surely from the crowd of students surrounding me.

"From what I've seen... I pity Mirdoriya."

"Dude, you should pity that robot more! I bet he's gonna be left off by Bakugo."

"Man, I'm even more nervous for my own battle now." 

"Hey (L/n)?" Jirou stood off to my side. "From what I've seen, you and Bakugo are pretty close. You must know his and Midoriya's history of bullying."

I nodded, facing her. "Sparky and Midoriya go way back -- like before Sparky's quirk had even manifested. Based on Sparky, he never saw Midoriya as a friend, however, I think that Midoriya did -- or maybe they were merely acquaintances. When Sparky's quirk manifested, everyone was praising him about his new-found power and how amazing of a hero he'd become -- (Jirou snorted back her laughter) -- without that attitude, I mean. He gradually became meaner and meaner to everyone around him Midoriya included, calling them extras. And since Midoriya was quirkless for a long time even after the age of 4, he was naturally Sparky's punching bag -- and now," I faced the CCTV screens. "why would Sparky back down from a chance of erasing Midoriya of his existence? No matter how horrid, I mean."

"Oh dear..." Jirou shivered, "I glad I wasn't in this."

Yaoyozuro patted my back. "Don't worry, All Might is supervising."

"Hey, who said I was worried?"

Jirou and Yaoyozuro looked at me in shock, speaking at the same time, "(L/n)! WHAT?!"

I grinned cheekily. "Just kidding! But, jokes aside," I faced them with worried expressions. "I swear Midoriya is going to die."

"Watch closely and try to learn something, everyone!" Uncle Yagi walked back into the room from giving instructions to the two teams. So, even you don't have favouritism when it comes to grading.
