I stretched with nervousness as I walked away from Shouto

I stretched with nervousness as I walked away from Shouto. "AAAAHHHHHH!!" I hugged myself in embarrassment. "No one saw what happened, right?" I looked around nervously. "I guess I could forgive him... but it's still his fault! Both his and Endeavour's fault then!" I huffed and groaned. "Seriously, (Y/n)? The first thing you say to him was, 'Take it!'? ARGHHH!! How embarrassi--"

I paused my tantrum momentarily, releasing my hands from rubbing my hair in my face. "Hmm?" I walked cautiously towards a crowd of students. "Umm... what is going... on?"

In front of me was a crowd that moved like a multi-headed beast that shared only one brain. Their thoughts were in lock-step as much as their feet. Hardly a person in the crowd had ever known each other, yet were pushing with the utmost will. The crowd flowed down the wide central corridors of the school where the exit was located -- despite it being locked. The mood of the people swirled in unseen currents beneath the dark surface of their faces. The only sound was their feet on the aging tarmac and the howl of their yells of panic or angry rising above them. Through their shouts, I was able to make out some unhelpful words such as,

'Hory ShEET!'

'DEKU!'

'OW OW!'

'Dashi RUN RUN RUN~'

And some helpful ones as well,

'Who could have infiltrated...?'

'...Preasss Crops!'

Does that person mean Press Corps? I fidgeted and shuffled side to side. How am I supposed to calm these panicked people? "Guys! GUys! EVERYONE!" One voice boomed over the crowd, strident timbre of my voice, a cacophony of silence, awe, and shock buzzed through the charged air. I blinked a few times before realising the volume of my voice. "EVERYONE PLEASE CALM DOWN! IT'S JUST THE PRESS! THERE IS NOTHING TO BE PANICKED ABOUT! THIS IS JUST THE EXTENTS OF U.A.'S SECURITY! WE SHOULD INSTEAD FEEL ASSURED THAT THE HIGH-SECURITY MEASURES ARE KEEPING THE PRESS FROM BOMBARDING OUR FACES, NOT PROTESTING ABOUT THE CROWD. UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF NEZU, I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR EVERYONE'S PATIENCE AS YOU QUIETLY SEAT YOURSELVES IN THE CAFETERIA UNDER THE LEAD OF YOUR CLASS PRESIDENTS. THANK YOU..." A sudden throb of pain stabbed into my skull. "THANK YOU FOR YOur co...coorperation." My skin went as pale as my eyes as soon as I spit out my last sentence. I crumbled to the floor, the face of a china doll and a body of limbs.

"No ordinary reporter would have done this." Multiple shadows cast upon the ruins of crumbled pieces of concrete from the high-tech school gates.

"Someone instigated this whole affair..." A drop of deep rosemary tea stained the ground.

"...Or do they intend to wage some greater war?"

Rubbing my tired eyes with the insides of my palms,  I stirred in my sleep 180 degrees to the darkened corner of the white sheets to prevent unwanted light to his eyes

Rubbing my tired eyes with the insides of my palms,  I stirred in my sleep 180 degrees to the darkened corner of the white sheets to prevent unwanted light to his eyes. Raking my fingers through my tossed and tangled platinum-blond hair, I blew my fringe up to keep it out of my face. It gives me a moment to shed the sleep from my brain, to allow the visions of dreamland and pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows to give way to the day, to move from that which I create on a whim to things more fixed and real. My surroundings are the usual hospital room just as I remembered, devoid of beauty as I am of calm. Its walls are simply cream, not peeling or dirty, just cream. There is no decoration at all save the limp curtain that can separate my bed from the three others in here.

Beside me -- or should I say, under the bed beside mine, was an enormous grotesque yellow looking caterpillar, making the colour drain from my face. "V-VILLAIINNNN!!" I screamed. "AAHHHH! VILLAIN IN THE NURSE'S ROOM!" I mustered up all the energy I could and shot light flares in its face. "GO AND DI--!"

"Stop it. You're giving me dry eyes."

"THEN GET DRY EYES YOU GROSS YELLOW CATERPILLAR

"THEN GET DRY EYES YOU GROSS YELLOW CATERPILLAR. THIS PLACE IS FOR INJURED STUDENTS OF A HERO SCHOOL!" My palms now heated up with flames. "SAY YOUR LAST WOR--"

The entrance to the hospital barged open with so much force that the nails fell apart, revealing Grandma. "STOP! (Y/N), THAT PERSON IS AIZAWA! AS YOUR GUARDIAN, HE WAS ONLY ON LOOKOUT!" My fingers twitched as the light emission fell short. "Eh?" I looked back and forth from Grandma to the caterpillar. Speaking of which, Uncle Ai's sleeping bag does look like a weirdly shaped piece of --... Oh no.

Uncle Ai emerged from under the bed, pulling himself out and glaring at me with bloodshot eyes. "What did you say about my sleeping bag?"

"U-Um..."

Grandma Slapped Uncle Ai's shoulder. "Oh, will you just shut up? (Y/n) literally just woke up." She turned to me and did a complete 180. "(Y/n) darling, how do you feel? Are you fine? Any pain? Immobolisations? Should I need to pump any medications? Oh, you have a rescue training today, I just -- should you go or should you not. Your health is alright, but you just fainted... How about I'll go get some pain killers and, if you need, I bring over my acute puncture needles and--"

"Okay," I dragged my voice with a hint of confusion. "I'm perfectly fine, Grandma, there's no need to worry about me. I... just fainted," I racked my brains. "And discovered a new quality of my quirk," I muttered the last part softly.

"Of course. Rush mentioned the sudden volume of your voice." Aizawa yawned and stretched. "You only showed signs of a headache."

I nodded at his response. "I don't have a headache anymore, Grandma, it was only hurting before, but it's not now."

"So it means that this skill is bigger than a few seconds of shouting... Go on then," Grandma gave a relaxed close-eye smile. "Your classmates are waiting for you outside."

I tilted my head to the side. "They... are?" She smiled and nodded her head slowly, building up my anticipation. I lifted my left feet, then my right, and continuing onwards, my footsteps echoing in my mind. What if they all left? I've never had more than... one friend in my life, what if even Sparky weren't there? I lifted my hand and as my palm enclosed around the doorknob, I twisted and pushed it open.
