Betty kissed Archie for the scene of the musical.
-Betty!
Jughead yelled as he was watching this so harmful for him scene. He was ready to cry. He didn't want his girlfriend kissing sonebody else. His thought that someone could even touch her scared him. He loves her. And still he has not told her.
-Jughead, they are in the middle of their scene.
Kevin yelled.
He left upset and went to the student lounge. He sat down and took his hat off. He put his head in his hands. He wanted to cry, to yell. But instead he left. He went to his trailer. He then heard a knock. He wiped every tear and got up to open the door. He saw her standing there with tears in her eyes.
-Jughead, I can explain.
-What? That you kissed my best friend? That you didn't pull away when I yelled or when I left?
-Juggie it was just a scene.
-Betty it was more than a stupid scene. You had feelings for Archie. How can I know that you still don't have?
-I don't.
-Just leave Betty.
-But Jughead...
She said before the door closed. She started to cry as she ran to her house. She suddenly fell and someone picked her up.
-Are you okay Betty?
A familiar voice said.
-Why don't you ask your son if I'm okay?
-What did he do this time? Did he hurt you?
-He will explain.
She said running.
As soon as she got home she ran upstairs and closed her door. She started crying even more. She called Veronica to come over. As soon as she came she ran upstaird to her.
-Betty!
She said hugging her.
-It's okay. It's okay. It's okay to cry.
-Why can't he be more like you? I kissed your boyfriend, nothing happened between us. And you know that nothing happened between me and Archie. I used to have feelings for him but I only love Jughead. And he doesn't know. That makes me even more sad.
-He's jealous. He's acting like a jerk and not trusting you. Don't let him take your happiness. Just relax. I know that nothing happened between you and Archie.
She hugged her trying to soothe her.
The next day
-So because Josie got the flu and she can't play the role of Veronica Sawyer, Betty will replace her.
-WHAT?
Both Betty and Jughead said in unison. Jughead already had the role of J.D. even though he was happy that he would kiss her.
-Come on Betty. You know every line and all the songs Veronica is singing.
-But..
-I don't want any buts. You'll be Veronica Sawyer.
-Fine!
She said disappointed, rolling her eyes.
The rehearsals started.
-So today you'll do 'Seventeen'. It is the emotional climax of the musical. 'Seventeen' captures the loneliness all the characters feel for what they've lost. Their teen innocence. So Betty, Jughead come to the stage!

hey both got up. Betty went and sat on the bench and crossed her hands.
-Betty! Uncross!
Kevin said annoyed by her attitude. Betty sat regularly. And the music started playing.
-"Fine. We're damaged. Really damaged. But that does not make us wise. We're not special. We're not different. We don't choose who lives or dies. Let's be normal see bad movies. Sneak a beer and watch TV. We'll bake brownies or go bowling. Don't you want a lifw with me? "
She sang as she touched his face. She then calmed down.
-"Can't we be Seventeen? Is that so hard to do? If you could let me in, I could be good with you..."
Jughead turned away.
-"People hurt us"
He said in pain. Betty watched him impressed by his angelic voice.
-"Or they vanish"
-"And you're right that really blows"
-"But we let go. "
-"Take a deep breath"
-"Then go buy some summer clothes."
-"We'll go camping."
He said turning around. Making eye contact.
-"Play some poker"
-"And we'll eat some chilli fries."
Betty giggled after that.
-"Maybe prom night"
She said touching his cheek.
-"Maybe dancing "
He said grabbing her waist
-"Don't stop looking in my eyes "
They said in unison. They did the whole dance and the rest of the song. And they kissed during the scene. Passionately.
-"Yeah we're damaged."
Betty said pulling away.
-"Badly damaged"
-"But your love's too good to lose"
They said in unison.
LOVE. That was the feeling they both were feeling in that simple moment. And they hadn't yet told each other those three simple words. But they wanted so badly.
-"Hold me tighter. Even closer."
Betty said pulling him closer to her and hugging him, forgetting that they are on the scene and everyone is watching them.
-"I'll stay if I'm what you choose."
Jughead said in a soothing tone.
-"Can we be seventeen?"
They said in unison.
-"If we still have the right"
Jughead then said. Ready to hug her and kiss her all over again. Wanting to apologise. Wanting to tell her that he loves her.
-"Cause you're the one I choose"
Betty whispered pulling away.
-"Cause you're the one I choose"
Jughead whispered away from her.
-"YOu're the one I choose ".
They both said in unison as they were now touching each other's face and looking straight in the eyes.
Everyone started clapping. They both pulled away and went behind.
-Betty, I'm sorry for acting like a jerk. You didn't do anything with Archie. You...liked him. In the past.
-Jughead I only love you though.
She said and then she realised what she said and took a worried look on her face. She didn't want him to not answer.
-Well I love you too. And thank you for everything you have done for me.
