He left angry the neighbourhood and ran to his trailer. He started throwing things and breaking them. He started shouting and crying very loud. He then decided to take his own. He had just lost his girlfriend that he loved very much. He made a mistake. He broke up with her and then she flew to Archie's heart.
He ran to the bathroom and searched for his old blade. He found it in the back of a cabinet. It was dirty and had stains of blood still on it. He started drawing on his skin, with the blade. Blood started appearing and the words were showing.
"BETTY I LOVE YOU"
Was written on his arm with blood. He started going deeper. More blood appearing. Strips of blood falling out of his hands. He started tearing up and crying harder in every scar. After a little he couldn't feel his legs he fell down. He layed on the bathroom floor. Not closing his eyes yet.
-I need to get up.
He said weakly. He tried to get up and reach for the notebook in his back that was beside him. He got it and got a pen too. He started writing.
"Betty, I want you to know that I love you. I never stopped. I am very proud for you to everything you've done. I don't want you to be sad for me. I want you to live your life. Fall in love with other people. I saw you and Archie kissing. You two could make a cute couple. But stay happy and positive. Okay? Be the real you. You don't need me anymore. I'll see you soon my love"
He wrote and moved it to the hall. Touching it with the red marks leaving his blood on it. He then layed back down and closed his eyes, grabbing the pill box. Putting some in his mouth.
-Goodbye Betty.
He whispered, leaving this world. His breath was cut. His palms stopped. His heart stopped.
Fp got to the trailer.
-Jughead! Are you here?
He asked throwing his keys on the kitchen table and heading to the bathroom where he saw his dead son.
-Jughead!
He yelled. He got on his knees and started slapping his cheeks gently.
-Wake up boy! Come on boy!
He started beating his chest. He started crying. He got up and ran to call and ambulance.
-Hello. My son...is unconscious. At the sunnyside trailer park. Trailer 23. Come quickly.
He said closing the call.
The ambulance came quickly and they got him to the hospital. Fp sat in the waiting room, waiting for the results. For his son to be alive. There weren't any chances he could survive and Fp knew it already. He decided to call Betty.
-Hey Betty.
He said.
-Hey Fp. What's up?
She said giggling.
-Umm...Betty I don't know how to tell you this. But you need to come to the hospital?
-Fp, is Jughead okay?
-No. I found him in the bathroom unconscious in a very bad condition. I think you need to come in case we need to say goodbye to him.
-I'll be there in some minutes.
She said.
Her voice was shaking. Her whole body was shaking. From fear. She got up from the couch where she was cuddled wih Archie and put her clothes on. The words were repeating.
-Betty? Where are you going?
-Jughead is in the hospital.
-What? Why? What happened to him?
-I don't know. Fp just called me. Can you give me a ride?
-Yes babe.
-Alright let's go.
She said wearing her coat, waiting for Archie to get dressed. They then got into the car and started going to the hospital.
-I'm sorry for calling you babe before. I just assumed that...
-After last night we would be together. I really would love to Archie. But all I care for now is Jughead. I want to know he's okay. I want him alive.
She said started crying.
-Hey calm down. He will be okay.
Archie said to assure her. They soon were outside of the hospital. She started running in and trying to find Fp.
-Fp!
She yelled. He got up and ran to her. She hugged him.
-How is he? In what condition? What happened to him?
-I found him unconscious in the bathroom floor. With cuts on his arms. Blood everywhere. And there was a pill box and a blade.
-Oh my god. He commited suicide?
-I guess so. Did anything happened between you two?
-He broke up with me. We got into a big fight. And then I left.
-Okay. I'll go ask the doctors if he's okay.
He said leaving.
Betty sat down on a seat and Archie came in.
-How is he?
-We don't know yet.
-Do you what happened?
-He committed suicide.
-What?
-Yes. Fp found him with cuts all over his hands and some pills beside his unconscious body.
-Oh my god. Come here.
He said looking at Betty crying loud. Taking her in his hug.
-I will lose him.
She said sobbing.
-You won't.
Archie lied. He knew that Jughead was not going to be okay. He knew inside him that Jughead will not survive. They both sat there waiting for his results.
After some hours the doctors passed.
-For Jughead Jones?
-Me.
Betty yelled getting up from her chair. She got close to the doctor.
-I'm sorry. We couldn't save him.
-What do you mean you couldn't save him?
-He passed away. I'm sorry miss Cooper.
-He...he's gone?
She asked leaving a tear fall down.
-I'm sorry for your loss. You can see him if you want to.
-Thank you doctor.
Archie said grbabing Betty before she fell down.
-No. He can't be...dead.
Betty started saying crying loud in the hospital.
-Shh. Stay calm baby.
Archie said taking her in his arms.
-Let me go Archie. I want to see him.
-Are you sure?
He asked. He was worried for her. She nodded and ran to his room.
She got in and closed the door behind her. She sat on the chair beside the hospital bed with his dead body on it.
-Hey baby.
She said looking at him. Tears falling down her eyes. She looked at his arm were the cuts were and the words were written.
-I love you too Jughead. I will never forget you. You honestly were my first love. My first official boyfriend. I never felt like this before. And losing you is going to be hard for me. I never thought the possibilities of you doing something like this. I never thought of you dying. You were a fighter. Yeah, you were in danger wih the serpents. But...I just...I shouldn't be talking for your death. I would like to talk about all those moments we had. The happy moments. Like when you said you loved me. For the first time. Our first kiss. When you asked me to be the serpent queen. Jughead thank you for every moment we had. For every memory. I love you Jughead. Please rest in peace. I'll never forget you baby...I...
He suddenly started moving.
-Betty?
He asked.
-Jughead! You're alive. Doctor Patel!
She started yelling getting out of the room.
The doctor came and did some exams to him.
-Well you survived actually. We all thought you were dead. I don't know how to explain it. But you need to get some rest. Maybe talk with someone. Okay?
-Yes. Thank you doctor.
Jughead said. Betty sat again beside him and she held his hand in hers. They stayed there for some minutes.
-Why did you do that, Juggie?
-I saw you and Archie, Betty.
-I...I am sorry. I was heartbroken from the breakup and he saw some bastards attack me and he saved me. So I then got by his house and things happened. But I only want you to be okay.
-Look I'm sorry for the fight and the breakup. I love you. That's why I did those things. I don't want to lose you Betts. I...please forgive me. And come back to me.
-I'm not going to leave you. Never. I love you too Juggie. I forgive you. I need to talk to Archie first though.
She went outside and grabbed Archie.
-He's okay. But we can't continue seeing each other. I love Jughead. I'm sorry Archie.
-I understand. I hope he's fine.
-He saw us kissing. That's why he commited suicide.
-Why didn't he talk to us?
-I don't know. But I need to go back in. To help him if he needs help and stuff. See ya around Archie.
-Bye Betty.
He left heartbroken.
She went back in and layed down with Jughead.
