Death
That word defines the end of us.
One day all of us will die.
We will not exist anymore.
She knew this day would come.
And she was afraid when it would.
But when Betty had to shoot her father or he would shoot her, she couldn't do it. She would've been dead. But Veronica was there. And she sacrifised herself. She went in front of Betty as her father was ready to shoot. Then Betty freaked out and shot him with the one bullet. She fell on her knees and took her face in her arms.
-Veronica...don't...please open your eyes.
Betty was saying as she was now crying. Both the poison and the bullet had hurt her enough. Archie was standing behind them with tears in her eyes. Jughead as well. Archie picked her in his arms, bridal style and started running till they got to a road. Cheryl, Toni, the serpents and pretty poisons were there. They were coming to save them. The core four got in the truck and quickly got to the hospital. They were now waiting in the waiting room for her doctor to come out of the operation room. Hours passed. Betty was sleeping on top of Jughead. Jughead was eating a burger. And Archie was walking back and front waiting anxiously for her.
-Archie calm down. She's gonna be alright.
-What if she won't? She was shot and she had poison in her system.
-She was trying to protect me.
Betty said getting up and starting crying.
-Hey baby. She will be alright. Have faith guys.
Jughead said unfaithful. He knew that they would lose her. But he loved Veronica like his sister and he didn't want to lose her.
The doctors came.
-Veronica Lodge!
-Hey doctor. How is she?
Archie asked.
-I'm sorry. She didn't make it. She passed away. She had a big amount of poison in her system. You can see her for the last time in the room 892.
-Th...thank you doctor.
Archie said running to her room. He went in and saw her unconscious body. She was very pale. He started crying. He went close to her and grabbed her hand. Squeezing it. Pulling her closer to him.
-I'm so sorry Veronica. I couldn't help you. I failed at protecting you. I love you. I hope you knew that. I'll never stop. I never really did either. I will never forget you my love. Rest in Peace.
He said crying and leaving the hospital room. He went to the bathroom and started crying. Louder. With pain filling him.
-I miss you already.
He said in tears. He got up and wiped all of his tears. But the thought of her dead, crossed his head again. He started crying again. He went out and found the others.
