I am in awe for his chocolate eyes
I cannot even look on other guys
Soft winds caressed my confusions away
Shoots tingles like those crashing waves at bay
Those brown orbs filled with anger and despise
Brown eyes telling me a lot of goodbyes
My love for him is pure like a white dove
My oh my, is this what they call thy love?
He smells like the rose and orchid scented
With his scent I am deeply contented
You are the illusion in me
Buttercup you are mine, my cup of tea
My love, you are my great reality
You are the one, my one great fantasy
"Wow, I mean that was sweet Britz."
I turned around to meet Josh. His black dark hair was disheveled due to his hands that constantly flicking it back and forth as he talks to me.
"You think so?" I said while arranging my paper works and my poems for the class.
"I do, where'd you get your inspiration for that?" I smiled.
Josh clearly was clueless after all.
"Well I di--" I was interrupted by a phone ringing.
"Sorry. It's Kate." his eyes was pleading as he looks at me.
"Oh no, it's okay." I said even though it stabs a million times in my heart.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Pffft. Of course." I managed to smile a little. I was amazed by myself not breaking down even a bit.
"I'll talk to you later, alright?" he waved goodbye at me while clutching his phone.
"Sure." I whispered as my gaze turns on his back retreating away from me.
I look back at the paper where my poem was written. Josh, still is numb.
He did fail to realize he has brown eyes.
