"I don't care about the mother! Listen, if this child will not be referred to another hospital. This child will die!", the Doctor said.

Silence took place at that time.

The doctor's eyes began to well in tears.

"I can't let it. I can't let this child die. Don't think about the money. Please.", the Doctor plead.

I witnessed another heart-breaking scene in this hospital. I'm not one of the patients.
I just happen to pass by.

The grandmother of the child couldn't help but to outburst in tears.

I shook my head. They shouldn't be crying.

Instead, they should've do something. Prepare the necessities in order for this child to survive.

I leaned closer and saw the condition of the patient.

Pale skin and lips quivering in pain.

Mouth forcefully opened for the oxygen mask.

Eyelids slowly fluttering as if looking in the ceiling for inspiration.

Those gray eyes having the determination to fight for life.

This kid is so fraile.

So fragile.

So innocent.

What if this child could survive?
With those innocent eyes, could it be enough to witness how cruel this world can be?

Eventually, I caressed the child's cheeks. He flinched and I take my hand back.

Wiping my tears that's beginning to drop one by one. My heart clenched at the thought of another life, another innocent child, saying goodbye to this world. Not having the chance to play in the mud, rolling in the plants and having a crush.

I look up and saw him.

I saw the powerful cross just above the hospital bed.

Are you seeing this incident?

If you do, please spare the life of this child.

I began to cry loudly but it seems like those people didn't mind me and my tears when the child's life is slowly saying goodbye.

Please

Please don't

No

No, I beg you

The doctors and nurses performed the operation. Doing everything they can to revive the helpless child.

Slowly, the child closes his eyes in front of me.

"Time of death: 9:43 a.m"

I can't believe it.
I can't believe he didn't listened to me!

I ran away feeling awful and sat around the corner of Hospital.

I was crying for the whole time not minding the people around.

Just then, a little hand tug the hem of my shirt.

"Go, away."

But it didn't listen and just keep on poking my ears.

I look up and was surprised to see the little child in the hospital bed.

B-bu-but how? I saw him closed his eyes.
I saw everything.

The child smiled. For a moment, I thought he was alive until a realistic thought struck up in my mind.

No.

It can't be.

This child is not supposed to see me!

I DIED.

I DIED 10 YEARS AGO IN THIS HOSPITAL!

I was awfully crying.

Now I know, God has a reason.

He may not listened to me but he had planned something better.

To end the child's suffering and me not being alone in this hospital until the day he comes back.
