John's P.O.V
We were watching Friends for about an hour until we decided to try and sleep so we could get used to the change in time. I'm not gonna lie. It was weird sleeping in the same bed as Alex, with boxers on. Only boxers. But it was ok, because we were together.

      I woke up to the big bright sun shining through the big window right at my face. I groaned and got up to close it. I looked back at Alex, he looked so precious. He was curled up in a little ball sleeping.

      I was admiring him when I noticed that his phone was getting a lot of messages. I picked it up and saw many messages from someone named... Charles Lee?

Lee: Hey babe it's Charles 🥰

Lee: I miss you ❤️

Lee: Where are you?😍

Lee: Baby girl? 🤤

Lee: I know you miss me baby 😘

Lee: Come on hun, I love you 💕

What the fuck? I- is he cheating on me? No no no. Alex wouldn't do this. But... the messages are right here. Ugh! I can't believe he would do this! And to think I even liked him! I was on my way towards loving him! But now that I see his true colors, I know he's just a bastard orphan.

      My heart had sunk down to my stomach and tears had made their way down my face. I quickly jotted down a note and put it on the night stand, next to Alex's phone.

I pulled on sweatpants and a hoodie. I grabbed my phone and wallet and left. Making sure to slam the door on the way out.

Alex's P.O.V
I heard a loud door closing and jumped awake. I turned around and John wasn't there. What is happening? I grabbed my phone so I could text him. But I found a small note next to my phone.

      Dear Alexander. You really fucked up this time didn't ya? You really think I'm dumb enough to not figure out the little stunt your pulling?! Well, you were wrong. I left, and I'm not coming back. I hope you've realized what you've done. Have fun living life alone. yours not so truly - John Laurens.

I quickly grabbed my phone and saw the messages. "Fuck." Was all I could get out before getting on knee shorts and a shirt and running out the door.

So uh. Lemme elaborate. No, I am not cheating on John. Charles Lee is my ex boyfriend. I met him in the Caribbean because he was on a trip there. But... He broke my heart when he had to leave. He said he had better things to do with his life. Honestly, I look back on it and he was such a jerk. Why the hell was he texting me now? And why  these things? Our relationship wasn't even remotely serious.

      I was running but I soon realized I had no destination. So I decided to call John. My phone rang once... twice... three times... Four...
"Hey, this is John. If I don't answer, I'm either obsessing over turtles, or my boyfriend Alex. Leave a message!" I mean... what was I expecting, him to pick up? I heard the beep and decided to just leave a message.

      "Hey! John this is Alex. Please please here me out. Charles Lee is my ex. Babe you have to understand it's not like that. Please text me." And with that I hung up. Tears now tolling down my cheeks. My heart started racing as I sobbed looking around.

      "Alex?" I heard a voice from behind me. I turned around and Peggy and Maria were standing there, confused. "Are you okay?" Maria asked concerned, noticing my tears.
