I wiped a tear from my face "I-I love you too Alex." I said chuckling after. He smiled at me and kissed me again. "I see your awake." The doctor said. We quickly broke apart. Omfl this is so embarrassing.
Me and Alex both blushed and the doctor chuckled writing something down. "Well John, Do you know what occurred this?" The doctor asked looking up from is notepad.
Aw shit. "Um yes but... Can I speak to the doctor alone for a minute?" I asked turning to Alex. He gave a sad smile "All right." He said getting up and leaving the room.
The doctor came up and sat next to me. "So what happened?" He asked. All of a sudden I burst into tears. "Are you alright?" He asked sympathetically. "Yeah." I said wiping tears off my face.
"Here's what happened. So, it all started when I thought Alex, my boyfriend, was cheating on me."-he nodded- "So I left and I was really depressed so..." I lifted up my sleeve to show a long red scar across my arm.
"I see..." The doctor said quietly. "Have you done this before?" He asked. "No. But I have thought about it." I said fiddling with the strings on my pants.
"Mhm. Well, do you think your going to do it again?" He asked sighing. "No. No I don't think so." I said quickly.
"Ok. Well, you trust your boyfriend correct?" He asked "With my life." I responded. "Alright, well if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, I think he's your best shot." He said comfortingly.
"I-I don't know if I can tell him." I said nervously. How would he react? "Listen. I know it might be hard. But having someone to talk to really helps." The doctor said getting up.
"A-alright I guess." I sighed.
Alex walked back in and sat down on the chair next to the door. He noticed me crying and put his hand on my leg. "What's up hon?" He said kindly.
"Well. I need to tell you something." I said sniffling. He nodded. I tried to speak but the words wouldn't come out of my mouth, I sighed, closed my eyes tight, and quickly pulled up my sleeve. Alex didn't say anything.
After about 30 seconds he still didn't say anything. I slowly opened my eyes, to see him silently crying. He looked me in the eyes, "I'm not mad, know that. But can I at least safely know that you won't try to do it again? Just try." (Actual words from a friend) "I promise. I will never do this again." I said sincerely
"Why did you do it?"
I'm soorrry this chapter was so fucking short but I'm in Vegas and I was the maid of honor in a wedding and let's just say I'm FUCKING EXHAUSTED. So yea biiiiiiiii! ❤️🏳️🌈🐢
