I climb up to Uncle Sam's porch and knock on the door, Sam swings the door open and smiles immediately when seeing me, "Nova." I smile, "Hey Sam, is Leo here?" He smile and points me up the stairs, The door swings open second late. "Hey." A smirk appears on his lips as he turns and walks back into the room, waving for me to follow him.

As soon as I walk into his room notice Leo's knuckles we bruised and scabbed quite badly, "What happened?" He looked at me confused and I simply feel annoyed.

"To your hand idiot," he looks down and sighed I see a flicker in his eye but then it gone. "Nothing," he is clearly trying to avoiding eye contact, it just annoys me further.

Your hiding something from me Leo, what is it?" My annoyance was clear in my voice, and Leo noticed, he sighed again, still not lifting his head, he clenched his hand into a fist, before releasing it again, "Okay, I got mad, and I punched a wall."

I looked at him knowing that wasn't the full story, "Continue..." he looked up at me briefly before looking very quickly back down at his hand, like looking a me is a crime. "Did I mention it was a granite wall, and that I punched it like twenty times after the first time." I look over to him and sigh... "What got you so annoyed Leo?" sympathy dripping off the question, I place my hand on this shoulder, he looks up at me, his eyes dark than I have ever seen then, the green speck is beginning to blend with the dark brown surrounding in. "It doesn't matter!" Anger raising in his voice, the shrugs off my hand from his shoulder as it falls to my side, I become sad that very quickly switches to anger. "If it made you maim yourself! Then yes it matters massively!" He groans at my words. Leo walks closer to me until his face was millimetres from mine, my eyes looking up into his. "I'd stop there if I were you!" Anger was pooling in the room with each word said. I take a step back, I'm not scared by him and I think that's what he's expecting. "You're not me though, so talk!" The anger level in the room was reaching dangerous heights. "Nova! Stop before we both regret the following few minutes!" I scoff at him, which makes it ten times worse... Leo begins to breathe so deeply he honestly was beginning to sound like a dragon and his eyes were beginning to look as incising. He took a step back and punches the wall behind him, leaving a hole in the wall, and blood streaming from his hand. I gasp, I felt scared and unsafe, I never thought I would feel that way in Leo's presence, but now I feel surprised I have ever felt any other way...

I take a deep breath and take a step towards him to compensate for the step back I took. If we took a single movement forward, any kind of movement, our whole bodies would be connected, "Leonard Ryan Black, I am not scared of you, you can use your words, fists and everything in between but I will never be scared of you..."

He stands looking at me in awe, he was speechless for a second, which to be honest for this boy, I didn't think was possible, he lifts his hand and caresses my cheek.

"What makes you so fearless, and why does that make you my weakness?" I stare at him not able to put together a sentence... I gasp as I see his face coming closer to me, he was closing the gap between us and to be honest, I wanted him to. As soon as I thought about it, Lukas jumped into my head, I push him away from me and myself into his dresser.

"You can't do that, you can't say that, I gave you a chance and you threw it away! You can't now change your mind, not now! Not ever!" stood there and without an apology or anything to be honest, I made my way to the door. "Nova! You never really gave me a chance, but do care about you, please don't be with Lukas... he's not good enough for you." I scoff, turn around and make my way out of his room and down the hall. WHAT AN ASS! I stand outside Lukas' door for a moment to compose myself, less than a second later Leo storms out his room heavily slamming the door and holding a pack of cigarettes in hand, I look at him in shock, he looks at me and shakes his head, he avoids my eye contact and walks down the stairs, again slamming the front door, I hear the reaves of his bike before he speeds down the road, I lean my head against the wall and let a single tear fall.
