As I walk in I feel eyes on me, I take a few steps backward out of the large hall. Alexis follows me out and sits beside me on the small bench down the path, I'm taking in deep breaths to try and avoid crying. "You don't have to go in there, we can walk away and go get ridiculously drunk. I smile between my laughs. I shake my head and loop my hand with Alexis' I raise to my feet and walk toward the hall. I walk in and look around the room, I quite quickly spot Kaci who come running over. She has her signature large smile plastering her face."You are sat second row on the right" She kisses my cheek and pulls me in for a hug, I see a hint of sympathetic in her smile.
I sit down next to River and Alexis, they both take my hand in their's and squeeze tight. Quite quickly the music starts and Leo walks down the aisle, by himself, smiling at everyone as he passes. He reaches the alter and spots me, he smiles and mouths 'thank you' before looking at his wrist at the beginning of his tattoo, I then look at mine and feel my heart ache slightly
The music gets louder and everyone raises to their feet and I do the same. I look at Emily she has a massive smile on her face. Her hair scraped back into a ballerina bun and in an a-line dress that she looks appositely stunning in River leans forward and whispers in my ear. "You are ten times more beautiful than her." I turn to him and smile, I love him sometimes. Even if it's completely not true.
Kaci walks up to the alter and stands in the spot of the officiant, she forces a smile at Leo and Emily, who can't take their eyes off each other. Hello everyone, thank you for coming here today and looking so utterly beautiful, my name is Kaci Black and today is my big brothers wedding. Today I have the pleasure of marrying my big brother Leonard Samuel Black and his amazing fiancée Emily Penelope Bolton, Emily came into my brothers life as a colleague and today she is going to become his wife. My brother has gone through hell and back and I couldn't be prouder of the man he has become, he loves with all his heart and I know that the world would be a very different place without him. My brother has met his match, she challenges him on a daily basis, she makes him a better person and he would not be the same without her, she loves him and did for a long time before either of them knew it and I know that when they finally get married, she will love him through the many arguments they with definitely have.
My brother is the hardest person in the world to live with, and so the fact that Emily has lived with him for as long as she has means that she deserves a medal. Emily I love you with all my heart and I want more than anything to call you my sister. You are kind and thoughtful with your entire being, I have always thought that you deserve anything in this world and that is what I want to offer you. Now anyone who wishes to object now is you time, or forever hold you peace..." Kaci tries to make it seem like she scanning the room but her eyes quite clearly land on me, as does, Alexis, River, Leo and even Emily's.
I hear a large sigh fill the room and Emily takes a step back, "If anyone should be objecting... it should be me, well in reality it should be Leo but I know that he will never do that so I will do it for him." Everyone gasps at Emily's words, I'm a state of shock, I look down at my hands because right now I can't look at Leo. Emily steps back from Leo, and looks out at everyone in the hall. "Leo everything has been amazing for two and a half years, I have loved you and you have loved me. Then two weeks ago things changed, you saw someone you will always love more than anyone on this planet, because I love you Leo, I'm letting you go." She steps down and walks down the isle wiping away a tear from beneath her eye.
He gasps and looks around the room at everyone in front of him. "I hated seeing Emily hurt like that but she is right. I can't give all of my heart to her when I gave all of myself away a long time ago. You said two weeks ago that last time I didn't give you enough time to think about this, this time you have had two and a half years, so... whats you answer now?" I shake my head and stay looking down at my hands he takes step forward and towards me, he comes to a halt at the edge of my row looking directly at me.
"Nova, I love you and I never really moved on, I never want to and if your words are remotely true, then I would like to admit something to you, I, Leonard Samuel Black, is 'bellamente enamorado de ti' I am sorry it took me so long to admit that to you but it is true." I stand up and walk toward away from Leo, and towards the edge of the hall, and towards the back and the door, because I need some fresh air. He pauses before he runs towards the door and reaches it moments before me.
"Nova, please..." I shake my head and pause, I look up to him, "Dices que estás bellamente enamorada de mí, ¿por qué me haces mucho daño?" His eyes widen, and smirks to himself slightly, "You speak Spanish?" I shake my head and show my annoyance. "I had an expensive education, so yeah, I speak Spanish. 'beautifully in love with you' really?" He looks to the floor, "I needed to say it, why didn't say something when I suggested the tattoo then?" I shake my head and turn to Alexis and River who are staring at me, "I thought you were being romantic!" He steps forward and wraps his hands around mine, "Those words ring truer today than they ever did then." I shake my head and pull my hands away from him.
He look over to Kaci and nods, he puts his arm under his blazer and into the pocket on the inside and pulls out a small velvet bag and hands it to me, I take it and pull open the draw strings, "The ring?" He nods and takes my hands in his again, "I've always imagined you being my Mrs. Black" I feel a tear roll down my cheek he wipes it away, "I asked once and I will ask you a million more times if that's what it takes, Nova Louise Founders, Hermosa, Nova, I can't stop thinking about you, when anything happens in my life, you are the person I want to tell, you are the person I want to see everyday. I want tell you about my day and I want more than anything for you tell me about yours, about how your shoes gave you a blister one day. I want to be with you, more than anything. I want my life whole life to be about you and I think you want that too so, run away with me." I smile and press my forehead to his, letting him wrap his arms around me, I run my hands through his hair, it's longer and slightly wavy, "All have ever wanted is for you to come back into my life and say those words to me..." his gorgeous smile makes a wonderful appearance on his face causing me to force mine back deep into my body, "... don't you dare ever leave me again! I die first okay?" He giggles slightly and nods brushing his top lip against mine, "You can go first." I grab his hand from around my back and take it in mine he spins me on the spot and squeezes my hand in his. I giggle to myself as I come face to face with him, he takes the necklace from the pouch and takes the ring off the chain and slips it onto my ring finger. I smile as he does it, he then laces his hand with mine again and clicks the door open as he tugs me through it. Into our future, together.
