Chapter 4

My house wasn't that far from the school and I always liked to walk home on nice days.

I liked being able to walk home alone and relax. I don't really no why I loved walking home alone so much in guess it was because I had time to think to myself.

As I was walking I noticed Maggie coming straight in my direction. Great. "Hey Brianna" Maggie said. I didn't even feel like correcting her. "What do you want." I replied rolling my eyes. Her friends were shocked by my bravery and it made me feel confident.

"You need to get it through your head that Cole will never like you, so back up before you get hurt..I will make your life so miserable." She nastily replied. "So pathetic" her friends whispered.

I laughed. "Bite me" I replied with a huge smile. I was so surprised that I even said anything at all. I honestly didn't even no what the term bite me even meant but I new it would piss Maggie off.

The next day Cole texted me.

Cole: so you never got back to me on us hanging out

Me: I guess I can what are we going to do?

Cole: come to the mall with me and Dana? I'll pick you up at 5:30?

Me: sure

When Cole arrived at my house he was driving a white Mercedes, as I hopped in the car Dana smiled at me. His smile was extremely cute. We got to the mall and went straight to the food court.

The night was a lot of fun. Cole and Dana were stupidly funny, they kept trying to disguise themselves and get free samples from the same place multiple times. Eventually the man giving them out caught on and yelled at Cole and Dana. It was hilarious.

"Let's play Do or Die!" Dana excitedly said. Cole laughed and they both looked at me. "Oh my god Cole she doesn't know what do or die is" Dana said exaggerating a gasp.

"Do or Die is like truth or dare but it's just dares and if you don't do it you die. Well you don't really die but if you don't do the dare you have to do something gross." Cole explained.

"Let's play" I said clapping my hands together.

"Okay Bri I dare you to go up to that man over their and ask for a piece of sushi" Dana said laughing.

I looked over at a fat man by himself eating a large plate of sushi. I couldn't stop laughing and slowly walked over to the man.

"Wow can I have some of that sushi it looks so good!" I said trying not to laugh. I looked back at Cole and Dana cracking up behind a fake plant.

The man gave me a strange look and took a bite of his sushi. I then ran up to Dana and Cole and we couldn't stop laughing.

After two hours of messing around in the mall we finally went and sat down on a bench.

"Your probably the coolest girl I know" Dana said and I laughed.

"No I'm serious!"

I smiled and noticed Cole glaring at Dana. Dana didn't even seem to notice and I didn't understand why Cole went from happy and fun to angry in a matter of seconds.

"I'm going to get a drink" Cole said walking to the vending machines.

"Hey are you and Cole dating or something?" Dana asked. I practically choked on his words. "No we are just friends" I said smiling.

"Oh good, we should go out you no just the two of us" Dana said. My eyes widened, Dana wanted to take me out?

"Just as friends of course" he smiled.

"Just as friends" I replied.

"So that's a yes?!"

I shrugged and turned to see Cole heading back.

"Maybe" I teased and Dana smirked.

I finally got home at 9 o'clock, took a shower and went to bed. I was extremely tired and I had to wake up early for school.

Maggie's POV

"Last night I saw Cole and Bri at the mall" I explained to Emily my somewhat friend.

"I warned her..she new it was going to get ugly if she didn't stay away"

Emily smiled a devious smile. I rolled my eyes, I'm done talking to her ...when is she going to leave.

I looked in the bathroom mirror and reapplied my favorite lipgloss and fixed my hair.

"My hair looks perfect today!" I said to myself.

"It does" Emily replied.

I quickly left the bathroom she was totally getting on my nerves.

When I walked out of the bathroom I ran into Cole.

"Coleypoo!" I called but he didn't turn around. Maybe he didn't hear me.

I ran up behind him and tapped his shoulder.

"Oh hey Maggie" he said

"Sit with me at lunch today?" I asked batting my long curly eyelashes.

He hesitated to answer and I was growing impatient. My smile wore away and I crossed my arms tapping my foot.

"I'm sitting with Bri sorry" he replied walking away quickly.

I clenched my teeth and stomped to my locker. She is so going to regret ever even thinking about him.

It was finally lunch. I bought a salad and water then went to sit at the usual table with my girls.

I saw Cole walk in and I waved him over. He totally ignored me and walked to a table with Aria, Bri's friend. I was furious. I noticed Bri walking passed me. Looking around for something to do I noticed one of the girls sitting with me had a smoothie with her. I couldn't remember the girls name as long as she was pretty she sat with me. I grabbed the smoothie and poured it all over Bri as she passed.

Her face was priceless. She turned and looked at me with wide eyes. I winked and mouthed "I warned you". Then she ran straight for the cafeteria doors.

"My smoothie!" The girl said.

"Get over it" I said shutting her up. I sat their satisfied as everyone in the cafeteria looked at me. I absolutely loved the attention.

The smoothie incident was all anyone talked about the rest of the day. "How good did I look when I poured it on her" I laughed with my girls. They all complimented me on how perfect I looked which they didn't have to do. I already new how great I looked everyday.

"Your a horrible person" someone said behind me. I turned around to see Cole.

"Cole I-"

"Save it!" He interrupted me.

I clenched my jaw as Cole walked away. I'm going to make Bri's life a living hell
