Chapter 15

The past week I came came to school with messy hair, sweatpants, and most of all a bitchy attitude. I got detention 3 times the whole week (new record).

"Pull yourself together!" Aria joked.

I stared at her with no response.

"Listen I know it's tough-"

"He's leaving today" I tried to say without tears.

My eyes burned from all the crying this past week.

"Are you going to say goodbye?" Aria asked quietly.

I looked at the ground not sure if I was going to our not. My classes went by extremely slowly, basically because I didn't bother to take any notes or participate...or even listen for that matter.

Every class I walked into I would try to remember what Cole had that same period.

As I walked into my photography class I remembered Cole had calculus right down that hall.

This was my favorite class but I still wasn't in the mood to do anything. We were just uploading our pictures to an online portfolio.

"Cole Pendery please come to the main office" the load speaker announced.

I quickly rose my hand. "May I please go to the bathroom it's urgent"

"No please sit down Briella" my teacher said crossing her arms.

This may be the last time I'll see Cole for a very long time and I can't believe she won't let me leave.

"Please it's really urgent" I said frantically. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Cole walking passed the door.

I blocked everything out of my head and ran out of the classroom.

"Briella Rose!" My teacher screamed but I didn't listen I ran straight to Cole who was about to turn the corner.

"We can't end thing like this" I cried holding his face in my hands.

"We aren't ending anything Bri" Cole said full of sadness.

"I love you so much" tears rolled down my face. Cole kissed me and walked down the hall to the main office.

"Briella Rose you are suspended!" My teacher yelled behind me.

I snapped out of my trance and walked back into the classroom as my teacher lectured me for what seemed like an hour. But frankly I didn't give to shits if I was suspended it was worth it.

*one month later*

"Wake up!" Aria said bouncing on my bed.

I groaned pulling the pillow over my face.

"Get up!!" Aria continued jumping.

I angrily got up, I could feel the knots in my hair setting in.

I checked my phone sadly no notifications and my heart felt sore.

"Don't worry Bri he will call I promise" Aria said sympathetically.

"Aria it's been a month. We talked the first week he left but after that..nothing. What if he doesn't love me anymore" the words actually coming out of my mouth hurt more than they did inside my head.

"You are insane. He can never stop loving you! If you saw the way his eyes lit up just talking about you" Aria said truthfully.

I smiled. The thought of losing him made me sick to my stomach.
