Chapter 16

My phone lit up and I pounced over to it to check what it said. Since Cole has been in California his managers made him get a Twitter so I made one to and turned on my notifications for him. His tweet read:

"Watch us on Tammy Talk Live right now!"

With a picture of his band, him dana and three other boys. I turned on my tv and watching their interview with the iconic Tammy Talk herself. I couldn't stop smiling, just being able to see him even if it's through a TV screen made me smile.

"So do any of you guys have girlfriends?" Tammy asked and they all looked at each other.

"I do, Alex Moore shes a beautiful singer you guys should check her out" one of the band members said.

Everybody looked at Cole and my heart started to beat..was he going to say my name on national television?

"Umm" he looked at Dana and Dana seemed almost nervous.

My heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to pop out of my chest. I was beginning to get nervous and Aria walked scooted towards me so we were sitting right next to each other.

"Well I..um..I do have a girlfriend" Cole said and I saw Dana and Cole exchange glanced.

"Ladies and gentlemen you heard it here! Cole Pendery and Cassidy Shaffer have confirmed their relationship!" Tammy screamed into the audience who cheered and whistled. I stared at the television screen, I felt no emotion at all just nothing. No happiness, no sadness nothing.

"Bri.." Aria hugged me.

"I need to go somewhere" I said running out of the room and to my car.

"Wait Bri!" Aria screamed running after me.

I turned on the car and Aria hopped in before I could back away.

I drove like a complete maniac all the way to the lake house. Once we were their I got out of the car and began the walk up the driveway grabbing the hidden keys and opening the door. I looked around to see furniture covered with tarp and boxes laying all over the place.

At that moment I lost everything. I fell to the ground practically drowning in a puddle of tears.

"Bri!" Aria ran in and helped me up.

"We were supposed to come here and live here he promised, he promised to come back and be my boyfriend and love me but he broke all his promises all of them" I cried clinging to Aria's shirt.

Arias phone kept blowing up with texts and I looked down into her bag to try to see the name but I couldn't. Aria took off the tarp from one of the couches and sat me down while she went into another room to read her texts.

"We need to leave" she said when she came back grabbing my arm.

"Why?" I asked curling into a ball.

"Now" Aria demanded.

Usually Aria is really bossy but this was different she was more urgent then bossy. I listened and put the tarp back over the couch walking out of the house.

We drove back to my house and watched a movie on my couch eating burnt popcorn. My dad was out at work again so it was just me living in the house for now. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door.

I opened it and saw Cole staring at me. I stared back at him without saying anything. There was a girl behind him who was probably Cassidy. I slammed the door shut and walked back over to the couch.

Aria looked at me sympathetically and I turned away from her, I didn't want her sympathy. Cole rang the doorbell about four times but I sat on the couch enjoying the movie.

I heard my bedroom window opening. My eyes widened and I sprinted up the stairs running to my window to shut up but Cole was already halfway inside.

"Bri just listen to me" he said trying to pull himself inside.

"Why should I!" I said angrily.

"You promised" I felt the tears building up in my eyes.

Cole was already mostly in my room but his foot was stuck on the window. He yanked his foot and fell pushing me underneath him. I stared up at him and realized how much I missed this.

"I love you Briella" Cole smiled.

"Woah what's going on here" the blonde girl said climbing through my window. I pushed Cole off of me and stood up walking out of my room.

"We aren't really dating!" Cassidy yelled to me. I stopped and turned around looking at both of them confused.

"It's for publicity, to keep the fans interested. I have to kiss him and pretend we are in love basically." Cassidy smirked.

I ran into Cole hugging him. Cole out his long arms around me and I felt like someone lifted bricks off my back.

"If you two would like to finish up this love fest. Cole we have to leave your tour starts Monday" Cassidy said.

"Come with us" Cole smiled intertwining our fingers.

"What that's crazy!" I said actually considering it.

"Please Bri" Coles face was painful to look at his big sad eyes staring at me.

"Okay" I smiled.

Cole helped me pack a bag and I took some of my emergency money shoving it in a sock.

"Aria I'm leaving and if you love me you will let me go" I said running down the stairs. Cole carried my bag and walking down the stairs behind me.

Aria hugged me and wished me luck. We shut off all the lights in my house and I grabbed a key locking the door on the way out.

"I love you stay safe" Aria yelled as we got into Cole and Cassidy's limo.

"Goodbye Texas" I smiled as we reached the airport. Cole got his emergency extra ticket out and gave it to me as we boarded the plane. When we finally got into the air I placed my head on Coles chest listening to his heartbeat. God how much I missed that.
