Chapter 19

"Knock knock" my father smiled peaking through my bedroom door. I yawned and sat up happily in my bed.

"I made waffles for breakfast" he smiled sitting on my bed.

"You know you don't have to do this" I shook my head guiltily.

"Listen I'm not going back to work until I feel that you are safe living here alone. I know how terrifying it must have been last year, thinking I was missing or even more dead"

I shivered as my dad spoke. "It was only a few months ago..but it feels so far away"

"Enough depressing talk! It's your first day of senior year! We should be downstairs eating breakfast and celebrating" my dad grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs.

I turned on the tv and ate my delicious waffles with strawberry's.

"Next up we have IM5 performing their original song Heartless!" The news reporter smiled into our TV. My dad looked at me before getting up to change the channel.

"Dad it's fine I can handle it..Cole and I broke up a while ago" I looked down at my half empty plate.

"Breaking up and leaving him without and explanation are two different things" my dad shook his head. On that note..I grabbed my backpack and met Aria outside my house.

"This weekend a few of the seniors are taking a road trip to Arizona" Aria smiled.

"Your joking right do you realize how far Arizona is from Texas?"

"Well we are taking a train to New Mexico where Melly Gibbons owns a few cars at a storage warehouse and then we are gunna drive to Arizona!!" Aria squealed with excitement.

I laughed shaking my head, I haven't talked to Melly Gibbons since like the fourth grade.

"Ugh I'm in" I rolled my eyes. Something definitely is going to go wrong.

On Friday I packed a small bag with a change of clothes and some emergency money.

"Arizonaaaaaa!" Melly screamed as we entered the train station. I give Aria a weird look, I can't believe I'm doing this. After we exited the train station we are greeted by five rangerovers. 

"Oh..my..god" I said my mouth hanging open. Aria quickly jumps into one of the cars beeping the horn repeatedly. "Lets go bitches!" she yells and I hop in the passanger seat. As usual nobody really wants to come with us but I'm glad its only me and Aria in this awesome car. 

I can't believe we are doing this. We all decide to stop at a hotel for the night to get some rest before our long trip to Arizona. We check into a nice hotel that luckily is payed for by Melly since she is basically loaded. 

"Thanks Mel" I hug her as Aria and I enter our room. 

"No problem glad you could come!" She beams and leads everyone else to there rooms. 

"Tomorrow we should go exploring" Aria plops onto the fluffy hotel bed. I smile, I guess this could actually be fun!

OH MY GOD PLEASE DONT HATE ME I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN LITERALLY 3 MONTHS!!

I HAVE HAD A FEW CHAPTERS SAVED SO I'M GOING TO PUBLISH THEM AND CONTINUE WRITING FOR THE WHOOOOOLE WEEK TO MAKE IT UP TO EVERYONE. I stopped righting because I'm a junior in high school and its really important I keep my grades up this year because this is the year colleges look at my grades and all that stuff. Anyways I love you all and don't worry theres a lot more to come. I'm sorry this is short af but I will be publishing another chapter in a few hours!!!!
