The Bear's Claws ((Charlotte Katakuri X Reader))

Chapter 1

((A/N- I have not read alot of Katakuri stories but if for some reason my story is very similar to another, please let me know before it becomes a problem, thank you and I hope my story doesn't suck 😂))

Ever since Big Mom has tried desserts created from orchid extracts, she demanded to know where the orchids came from.

Dendrobia.

That's the name of the island where the orchids came from. She sent some servants over to find the ruler and to see if he has any children. Much to her luck, the king only has 1 daughter. But the servant that took the picture didn't get a clear shot of her face but nonetheless the ruler has an heir, which was all she needed to know.

That same day Big Mom has requested that Katakuri come to her palace immediately to have a "family meeting" between the two.

Katakuri- "You wanted to see me Mama?"

Big Mom- "Yes, I need you to do something for me."

Katakuri- "what is it?"

Big Mom- "Are you familiar with the island Dendrobia?"

Katakuri- "Yes, the island is well known to have orchids whose extracts can be used to make desserts."

Big Mom- "that's right, after one bite of a cake made with the orchids, I just couldn't get enough of it that I want to claim the island as part of my territory.

Katakuri nods.

Katakuri- "I had a feeling, and to be honest, my donuts tasted alot better because of those orchids."

Katakuri remembered the time he received Bear Claws made from the extracts during his merienda. And ever since that first bite he requested donuts ONLY made from the orchids.

Katakuri- "So what is it that you need me to do?"

Big Mom- "I want you to marry the princess of Dendrobia."

Katakuri's eyes widened a bit, taken aback by the sudden request. But he quickly brushed it off before Big Mom would notice.

Katakuri- "I did not know that the king has an heir."

Big Mom- "Oh but he does."

One of Big Mom's servants then handed Katakuri the picture that was taken by one of Big Mom's spies. His eyes narrowed a bit when he saw that it only showed the princess's hair but not her face.

Katakuri- "The picture doesn't show enough proof that she is his daughter..."

Katakuri could feel Big Mom getting angry.

Big Mom- "You don't agree to the marriage my son??"

Katakuri closed his eyes and sighed lightly.

Katakuri- "Of course not Mama, I trust your judgement."

Big Mom- "Good, you will marry the princess in 3 days, so there is much to do."

Katakuri- "yes Mama."

The king of Dendrobia was appalled at the request of his daughter being married to a family of pirates. He hated Big Mom and wanted nothing to do with her or her family of misfits, but he was well aware that refusing her could be a big risk for everyone on the island.

Princess- "PAPA, I REFUSE TO MARRY THAT WITCH'S SON! THERE IS NO WAY I WILL DEGRADE MYSELF JUST BECAUSE SOME OLD HAG WANTS TO CLAIM THIS ISLAND'S PRECIOUS TREASURE FOR HER OWN SELFISH NEEDS!"

Queen- "How could she just force our beloved daughter into marrying one of her horrid son?! Its unethical!!"

King- "I KNOW! I am against the idea as well!! But if we refuse the offer then this whole kingdom could perish, you know what happens when someone displeases Big Mom."

Queen- "What are we going to do? We cannot put any of our suspects in danger over some..extracts..."

King- "I know, I needed more time to think of a way out of this but she planned to have our daughter married within 3 days."

Queen- "3 days?! Who did she even pick to marry her?"

The King sighed deeply before speaking.

King- "She wants her to marry Katakuri.."

Both the Princess and the Queen turned pale after hearing the name.

Katakuri is one of the 3 Sweet Commanders and the eldest of the 3 triplets. With a reputation as big as his, of course the family began to fear for the worst.

Princess- "no...no no no!! I CAN'T BE MARRIED TO THAT MONSTER! PAPA YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!"

King- "I won't let you marry him, I just need a plan to help keep Big Mom busy."

Just then they heard a knock coming from the door.

Queen- "Enter."

After the door was opened, you walk in with a kettle and 3 tea cups.

You- "pardon my intrusion your highness, I know you are all busy at the moment but...its.....tea
...time...."

You felt uncomfortable at the stares you were getting from the king and queen.

Queen- "tell me my king, does Big Mom know what our daughter looks like?"

King- "from what I have heard, the picture she received only shows her hair and skin from behind."

Queen- "interesting, because this maid has the same hair color as our daughter, her complexion is almost alike too."

They both nod as they looked at you and their daughter. And something inside you was telling you that today won't end well.

Queen- "my dear, will you help us with something?"

You- "m-me? On what?"

King- "Big Mom requests that her son marries my daughter in exchange for our land's orchids, but I am not keen to the idea of marrying my beloved daughter to a group of pirates."

You kind if already knew where this was going so you decide to set the tray down before you ended up dropping it.

King- "Since you and my daughter share some similarities...I request that you marry the Yonko's son in her place."

You- "w-what? But...what if she finds out I'm not really the princess? I'll get killed the moment I set foot on the island.."

Princess- "HOW SELFISH!! ALL OF OUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE AND YOU'RE MORE WORRIED ABOUT YOURS?!"

King- "silence yourself, they won't know because Big Mom hasn't seen your face."

The Queen turns to you.

Queen- "This is a huge favor, and we need to keep Big Mom at ease so, will you do it?"

You- "I don't know, I don't think I can pull off being the princess."

Queen- "We can help you before the wedding, please dear, you are our last resort."

You- "But...but...can I even do it? I mean what if I mess this up and-"

King- "You will do as you're told!! I refuse to put my daughter, our princess, at stake, you WILL marry the Yonko's son in my daughter's place and you WILL not mess this up!"

You knew you can't back out from this, but even if you managed to pull this marriage through, how long would it be before your cover is blown?
