Chapter 4

I went into my shared room with Lola and Chiffon and I watched as they placed the cupcakes onto the table.

They made so many.

There are probably around 15 different cupcakes.

How in the world am I even going to finish all of them?

Chiffon- "So, what do you think?"

You- "Huh?"

Lola- "What do you think of the cupcakes?"

You- "Oh, they're wonderful, but how am I going to be able to get to them all?"

Chiffon- "Hehehe, even if you don't finish them, that's okay."

You- "Are you sure? I'm not very comfortable with wasting food."

Lola- "Its alright, even if you just take one bite, we won't be mad."

You- "No, but I will feel bad, just knowing that you two put so much work and effort into making these for me."

Chiffon- "Its okay, we bake things all the time, we can basically do it with our eyes closed."

You- "okay, I think..I'll start with....this one."

I reached over and picked up a pink cupcake.

Lola- "OOOO!! That cupcake is made from orchids that have strawberry extract, but we also used the vanilla orchids to make it taste smoother."

I smiled and took a bite of the cupcake.

It was delicious!

I have never tasted a cupcake so good before.

Not even at the wedding I was able to enjoy the cake as much as this cupcake.

You- "Oh my!! this cupcake is delicious!!"

Chiffon- "I'm sure they're not as good as the ones from Dendrobia."

You- "oh, I don't really like to compare, I don't think that's fair."

Lola- "Oh you flatter us (Y/N)!"

I wasn't lying about how good the cupcake is, however the whole comparing desserts thing is a ruse.

Truth is, as a maid I didn't really have much access to desserts.

I've only tasted a handful of extracts, but that was only if it was used to season the food they gave us.

Other than that, we don't get the privilege to try extracts as good and sweet as these ones.

Chiffon- "Why don't you try another cupcake?"

You- "Huh? But I haven't finished the one I'm already eating."

Chiffon- "I know, but I want to know if the others are good too."

Lola- "Let us know if we need to work on anything."
