Chapter 8

Its been about an hour and I've done nothing but tried to calm down Chiffon.

But after hearing about what she's gone through, I couldn't help but shed a few tears yourself.

You- "I'm so sorry for leaving you Chiffon!!"

Chiffon- "No no its not your fault!! Its just that Lola couldn't handle the whole arrangement and just ran away."

You- "Did she even tell you about it?"

Chiffon- "I mean she has brought it up a few times but I just didn't think she'd actually do it!"

You- "So now what? Are you going to have to marry Loki in her place?"

Chiffon- "Well...That was Mama's plan, but Loki knew I wasn't Lola so he called off the wedding. And now Mama can't look at me without thinking about Lola and how much she hates her."

Chiffon cried again and I couldn't help but embrace her.

Chiffon- "I knew Mama would be furious but I never thought she would ever lay a hand on me."

You- "I won't let you suffer like that! Why don't you stay here with me?"

Chiffon- "Oh no, I possibly can't! This is your and Katakuri's home, I can't invade your privacy."

You- "Oh I'm sure he won't mind if you stayed with us."

Chiffon- "No, its okay I'll be fine..I'm just worried is all."

You- "Worried?"

Chiffon- "oh its nothing."

You- "No tell me."

Chiffon- "Well..its just that...what if Big Mom ends up killing me?"

My heart sank at the thought.

You- "Please stay with me, I'll be able to sleep at night if I know you're safe." 

Chiffon- "That's very kind of you (Y/N), but I can't accept your offer."

You- "Chiffon please?"

Chiffon- "I'll be fine, if I truly am in trouble then I'll come see you."

You- "But you came here with bruises, and just seeing you like that just wounded me."

Chiffon gave me a kind smile and placed her hand over mine.

Chiffon- "My brother is lucky to have someone like you."

You- "Chiffon..."

Chiffon- "Not many of us are lucky to get married to someone who shows compassion towards others, Katakuri truly is blessed."

I couldn't help but smile and let a tear roll down my cheek.

Chiffon- "I hope you two have children that inherit your gentle heart."

I have never jumped out of my bed so fast before in my life.

You- "Ch-Ch-Children?!?! O-oh Chiffon..D-D-Don't you think it's much too soon for that??"

Chiffon giggled.

Chiffon- "(Y/N) its okay, you don't need to explain yourself, no one is rushing you to have children with my brother."

You- "Y-Yeah..I'm sorry..it just threw me off guard."

Chiffon- "I can imagine, honestly...I never pictured my older brother to have children."

You- "What makes you say that?"

Chiffon- "Well he is a very busy man that its rare that I get to see my big brother. I care about my big brother, I honestly thinks he deserves to be happy. And when I've received the news that he is going to get married, I was so happy for him."
