It's peculiar of me to feel this way, isn't it? To assume that he was looking right into my very being, when in reality he just stood there giving me eye contact like he does to everybody else.
Putting my love sick feelings aside, I will not lie that his eyes held me captive. I was in prison with the bars wide open, yet I didn't want to leave. His sly eyes did that to me. He's intoxicating and it's maddening.
