Pet stores- part 13

Once again might be spelling errors but bare with me. Also I've had test for two weeks straight every day so love that. Only one more month of school yay

"Hello, how are you?" An older looking lady with dark brown hair and beautiful eyes ask as we enter the pet shop doors. "We're good thank you" I say looking to cal and then to her as me and him both smile. "Well take a look around, ask me if you need anything" she says walking into another part of the store. "Oh my god, calum look at this puppy!!" I saw almost crying at how adorable the dog is. "He's so fluffy" he says walking over and smiling. "I LOVEEE" I say talking the glass where the dog is. I spot a cute little tan dog in the corner of the store at the end of the dog area. "Cal look how cute!" I say now running over to the little dog. "Can't be older than like 3 years" calum says pointing to it. "AWWW so cute" I say. I really like this dog. "Cal you see any you particularly like?" I say moving my arm to the row of dog spots. "I don't know, but the fully ones are always the best" he says grinning walking down to the other dogs. "I wanna hold one sooo baddd" I say gesturing to the golden color dog I have been gushing over. I walk over to the area the woman was in and spot her.

"Hey ma'am, is it ok if we pet them or pick them up?" I say asking the woman as she turns around the look at me. "Oh of course, make sure to clean up if things get messy" she says giggling. "Let's hope we don't have to, thank you" I say waking away and laughing. "GUESS WHAT, WE CAN HOLD EM" I say dragging out the e and picking up the small dog. "GOSH, your so cuuute" I say looking I tot he dogs eyes, speaking in my baby voice. I turn and see that cal has picked out a small black dog with not much fur and his now playing with it and smiling so hard. So I hurry and snap a pic. " Bellisima" I say to the lil dog in currently holding. I want him. "Stop speaking Italian, it's not fair." He says being stubborn about only knowing English. "Ugh sorry" I say turning back to the dog. I sit on the floor and pick out the toy the dog had in its cage. He immediately barks and wags his tail waiting for me to give him the ball. "Oooo he's feisty" calum says laughing as the dog goes for my hand that had the ball. "I know, it's cute" I say grinning. I then drop the ball and the dog excitedly runs for it.

After an hour or so of just looking at the dogs and playing with them we finally headed home. "Man I don't know how I'm holding up so well" calum says now looking sad as I'm driving the car. "What do you mean?" I say turning my head to him and the back to the road. "Just with the breakup, I feel like shit but I just can't let it out" he says almost regretfully. "I think that's normal. Especially for you. I mean you don't really try to get to emotional. If it gets to much on you, maybe you should see a therapist" I say sympathetically. "Or try writing I know that helps" calum says adding in. "Exactly, see cal you got this" I say smiling as I pat his knee. "Alright well I'm gonna drop you off back at home and I'm headed by to my apartment" I say turning the radio down a bit. "Mm'kay" He says looking out the window feeling a little sad about our previous conversation. "Promise me you'll get help if you need it ok?" I plead to calum. "Of course" He says looking over to me. "Thank you" I say

As I pull into his driveway and he opens the car door I say "love you buddy" dragging out the end. "Love you too y/n" he says walking over to his front door and the waving bye as I pull out of the driveway. Man I've got a long day ahead. As I drive home I think about things I can do to help calum. I know how much he likes dogs and maybe he could use some company. Plus I really like that dog back at the store and I think I wanna adopt. So when I get back home I plan out a way to get me the dog from yesterday and possibly the fluffy dog from the same place. He says he likes them better. So after showering and eating some dinner I head off to bed to prepare for my secretive help calum feel better plan.

Ouuuuu sksks how do you think calum will feel about y/n getting him a dog without asking first. His he even ready for one?

But I'm trying to update more so bare with me. And calums emotions from the breakup are finally setting in, yikes. We're in for a bumpy road but we're just getting started....

BUT ANYWAYS THANK UU. idk if anybody reads these but you should cause I kinda gives hints into the next chapter but enjoy..
