Kabanata 1

Major Warrion Adelram Alcantara.

Thirty years old. Former military officer, a military doctor. Resigned from work two years ago. Single.

"Pangalan palang yummy na," I murmured softly and scrolled the google search.

He's a son of billionaires, brother of Caspian Alcantara, a rich hotelier and CEO with different branches worldwide.

I heard a small purr below my feet and a smile left my lips when I saw my pet, a sphynx cat, moving around my feet.

"Oh, hello there my beautiful baby." Masuyong sabi ko sa pusa at marahang binuhat ito.

She meow-ed, kinarga ko s'ya at marahang hinaplos ang balat n'ya at hinalikan.

"Have you eaten yet, piglet?" I asked my cat softly and she purred again kaya napangiti ako ng malambing.

"Good girl, kiss Mommy." Sabi ko pero tinitigan lang ako ng pusa ko. She meow-ed again, bored kaya mas napangiti ako.

"Ang sweet naman ng piglet na 'yan," I giggled and lowered her on the ground. "Come on, let's eat downstairs."

I walked to the vanity mirror and checked myself first before going out of the room. My cat is sophisticatedly walking behind me, her tails wiggling softly on the air.

That's why I like cats, maldita, classy, just like me.

I was halfway on the stairs when I noticed a man walking behind us. Pasimple akong lumingon at halos manlaki ang mata ko nang makita 'yung super hot na pa-bodyguard sa akin ni Daddy!

And this is the man I flirted with last night! Damn it, hindi na siguro ako naalala nito, ano?

I swallowed the lump on my throat, saglit akong sumulyap sa lalaki sa likuran at umayos ng tayo.

"Uhm, hindi naman ako aalis. I'll just feed piglet." I told him.

He remained standing there behind me, unmoving. I saw took a glance at my cat and creased his forehead.

"Yeah, she's a cat but it's piglet para unique." Paliwanag ko pa sa kanya.

Bumalik ang tingin n'ya kung saan, nasa likuran ko pa rin. Umawang naman ang labi ko sa gulat dahil wala s'yang reaksyon sa sinabi ko.

"Share ko lang," I spatted.

Hindi pa rin s'ya umiimik kaya sumama na ang tingin ko. I stomped my feet, nakita kong sumulyap s'yang muli sa akin kaya nagmartsa ako pababa ng hagdanan habang nakasunod ang pusa ko.

Walang pakiramdam! Manhid! Bato! Yelo!

Nakasimangot ako habang naglalakad patungong kusina. I feed my gorgeous cat and sat on the stool while watchong her eat.

Kagat-kagat ko ang labi ko at nakahalukipkip lang roon habang nakamasid kay Warrion na nakatayo lang roon sa may kusina.

He was tall, I guess six feet and some inches, hmm, I think two inches. He's wearing a black suit with his white long sleeves dress shirt and deep, black tie. He's also wearing slacks and shiny leather shoes, that fits beautifully on his body.

Is he serious? He's a bodyguard? Like really? He doesn't look a bodyguard for me on his suit! He looks a lot like a rich CEO going to his office for a board meeting!

He is lean and well built, mukhang batak ang katawan sa training, since he was a former military officer. His muscles are placed in all the right places, his jaw is clenching as he stared coldly at somewhere, his green eyes are too broading and dark that I can feel my body weakening with just a second looking at it.
