namjoon smiled as he saw his 3 year crush walk down the halls. Namjoon's long legs were held together as namjoon was nervous. he had a crush, just like anyone would have. although he never intended to have a crush on the biggest playboy/bad boy in the school, he does not regret anything.
his crush was Jung hoseok, who was the most popular male in Bighit high school. hoseok was the definition of perfect. he had a muscular, but slim body, he had a drop dead face, an eight-pack, and anything else that would represent high school perfection.
Namjoon could never bring himself to actually look at hoseok in the eyes because he knew hoseok hated him. hoseok bullied Namjoon to the extent that namjoon could have to go to the hospital from the damage. although hoseok was scary, namjoon never complained. he never said a word about these beatings. his mother would wonder how he got the bruises, but namjoon lied, he always did.
as namjoon saw his crush walking down the hall, he couldn't help but feel ripped apart when he saw hoseok with his latest girlfriend Jennie. Jennie always stuck like a magnet and was hoseok's biggest fan girl. she would find any way to flaunt that she was together with hoseok, which made many girls and even some boys mad.
hoseok only got together with her for a quick fuck and because she had kept pestering him week after week, month after month, and year after year to get together with her. namjoon wonders how Jennie could have lasted throughout those years of liking just one person. namjoon sighed and chuckled as he quietly walked to the classroom.
he could say the same for himself. he has loved hoseok for years, yet has never once made a move to progress in a relationship that might possibly happen. but of course namjoon could never think that. hoseok would only look at him at the mindset of a simple pebble on the ground just waiting to get kicked or thrown out into the large body of water neighboring the land. namjoon even laughed at the simple thought of hoseok ever becoming acquaintances or even friends with namjoon, but he can only imagine.
before namjoon can reach the classroom just waiting to be filled with loud, talkative students, he felt a large, yet familiar hand grab onto the back of his dark green sweater, smashing his body into the nearest locker. namjoon bit his lip as he felt the coolness of the locker. he knew who it was, but did not complain.
it's was hoseok once again as he grabbed namjoon's hair in a tight fist before bringing namjoon's head down to his knee, crushing the poor boy's nose. namjoon did not do anything and just head his head down low. hoseok and his little group of friends, which were known as BTS, started to laugh and hurt namjoon to their will.
namjoon was used to it. the pain was no longer there from the countless and senseless beatings he got from the six of the boys. he just prayed that his mother would not ask him so many questions when he got home. although he never felt any of the beatings because of how much it happened to him, he was still scared. he was scared of the fact that hoseok never even saw him as a human, but only as a "pet", to be used and thrown away until needed again.
he was scared of his father too. although his father was often nice, his father saw namjoon as a weak creature who cannot defend for themself. his father despised namjoon for loving a being of the same gender as them. his father often called him a disappointment to the family. namjoon never wanted things to turn out how they were, but at some point, his father just gave up on trying to actually nurture him. his father often went out to drink and have sex with other woman despite being married. namjoon not only faced beatings at school, but when he came home after working his part time job, he would often have another beating when his father got home from work.
