A/N Hey Guys! This is the first time I'm putting up a story on Wattpad... Hope you like it!
"Elsa! Do you wanna build a snowman? Or hide behind the tree?" I listened to my little sister, Anna sing. I chuckled at my five year old sister's words. "What is it now Anna?" I asked her.
She slowly opened the door and squealed "It's Christmas. Let's hide and catch Santa Clause!"
"Go to sleep Anna. There's no Santa." I replied and stuffed my head under the pillow.
"Heeyyy! You're acting all grown up for an eight year old." She whined "And Santa Clause is real. So are the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny and the Sandman and Jack Frost too!"
"Who's Jack Frost?" I asked her curiously.
"Someone who reminds me of you." She held her hands behind her back as she said.
"Of me?" I was fully awake by then. How could some random human being remind her of me?
"Well. He is another child guardian just like Santa. He controls snow day all over the world." I let out a soft "Oh..." and then she continued "Stories say he's the most fun of them all!"
I nodded sarcastically "Stories Anna. That's what they are. Now let me sleep." I turned away.
Anna ran towards me and pulled away my blanket. I smiled at her and said "You know that doesn't bother me. I'm immune to the cold."
Anna whined "No Elsa. You are coming with me. I'll show you Santa. If he doesn't come, then I'll never wake you up in my life again." Now that caught my attention. "Okay. But you're going to have to do some major sacrificing." I said as I jumped of my bed and wore my boots.
We slowly ran towards the hall making sure not to trip on something. We hid behind the huge palace cushions and sleep started cursing me as I didn't let it posses me.
"Anna. I'm really tired. Wake me up if they come. I'll be here alright." I told Anna as my eyes started drooping.
It wasn't two minutes since I closed my eyes and Anna shook me wildly. I woke with a startle and saw her pointing the torch at the tree. "Look Elsa! He's right there!" I scanned the room and saw nothing.
"Anna. Stop messing with me." I whined half asleep.
Then Anna started talking to the air. "Why doesn't she see you?" She paused as if she were waiting for an answer and nodded.
"Elsa. Will you do me a small favour?" she pleaded.
"What is it Anna?" I asked her in a monotonous tone.
"Believe in them." She smiled and I frowned "Anna. What is it with you and-"
"Just believe Elsa!" She squealed. I closed my eyes and whispered "I believe in them."
When I opened my eyes, I was about to get a heart attack. In front of me was a man around six times my size in Santa clothes, white hair, white beard, tattoos(Wait, what?!), and a wide cheerful smile. Besides him was a young man in his twenties. He wore a blue sweatshirt and a faded brown pant. He had silvery white hair and blue eyes, not to mention his weird feet that he didn't use anything to cover.
My jaw fell to the ground as I stood tiny in front of these two men. The tinier man with silvery white hair knelt down before me to talk as so he didn't tower me anymore.
"Hey. What's your name?" He asked as he smiled and held out his hand.
"Umm... Elsa." I hesitated at first as I thought about what my parents told us about strangers. And then slowly gave my hand. I mean how dangerous could they be? They were strangely my imagination.
"Hello Elsa. I'm Jack Frost. Pleasure to meet you." He replied
"Jack Frost? But this isn't snow day. It's Christmas." I said in a low voice.
"Hmm... So you do know me pretty well huh?" He smiled "You see Elsa, where there's Christmas, there's snow. And where there's snow, there's me."
"Where there is snow, there's Elsa too!" Anna squeaked from behind me.
"So you like the snow huh?" Jack asked me.
"Not how I would put it..." I said and he saw me in a particularly confused way. "You might wanna stand back for this," I continued with my timid voice.
Jack was still confused. Yet he backed away. I guess curiosity conquers the lot. I slowly made a tiny snowball in my hand and threw it up in the air. And then the snowball burst and it started snowing in the hall.
Jack was awestruck with the thing I did. "Ho-How on earth did you do that?" He asked as he slowly turned towards me.
"Elsa was born with the powers to control snow and ice." Anna said.
Jack got back on his feet and slowly flew which was pretty amazing. He took a falling snowflake in his hand and scanned it carefully "North. Is it possible? Is something this amazing possible?" he asked in excitement as he scanned the ceiling which now was clear of snow.
"I-I don't know. This is incredible." Santa Claus said as he laughed.
Jack flew back down and lifted me up as he laughed of excitement "Wow Elsa, you're powers are amazing. Don't ever be ashamed to show it." He twirled still carrying me and I was floating as my head started spinning.
"Whoa. Okay, put me down please." I giggled as I said.
He laughed, put me down, held my hands and said "You are the 'coolest' eight year old in the planet. Give me a hi-five!" He said and held up his hand. I hi-fived him almost immediately.
"Thank you Jack. I'll keep that in mind." I smiled and waved them a proper goodbye. Anna hugged Santa without a warning and he chuckled. And then they just flew away.
"Aren't they awesome?!" Anna squealed as I nodded. "See! I told you Jack was like you. But you're the best!" She hugged me and I hugged her back.
"I love you Elsa."
"I love you too Anna."
