CHAPTER 8

I woke up to a fresh morning and mentally prepared to suddenly have Jack sitting next to me. He tends to give me a heart attack always. I turned around slowly and found no one. Thank the heavens. I sighed thankfully.

"Looking for someone?!" Jack said all of a sudden and appeared out of nowhere. He was hanging upside down in front of me.

"How did you get in?!" I screeched and then clearly my throat.

"You left the window open again my queen. You might catch a cold." He said as he smirked and turned back to sitting upright.

"The cold never bothers me ice boy. You of all people know that." I said and my morning voice sounded funny. Jack chuckled at me.

"Really? Me too." He said still smiling as if he were re-introducing himself.

"You do know right... I could throw you in a cell for stalking the queen?" I said after clearing my throat. "And how long were you here?"

"Well.. you wouldn't throw me in prison would you? After all, I am your 'friend'." He said and smirked. "And I just came in here. To wake you up." He said and I couldn't help but notice how he emphasized of the word friend.

"Well get out now! And let me get ready!" I told him.

"Uh-huh. I won't. say the magic words!" Jack said playfully.

"What rubbish! What magic word?!" I asked Jack while still glaring at him.

"Please." He replied smirking. I decided to tag along.

"Would you please, Jack Frost, GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" I yelled suddenly putting him in surprise and smirked.

"Okay! Okay! I'll leave..." Jack exclaimed as he jumped. And then, slowly, he walked out of the room.

I giggled and shook my head. How on earth could he possibly be this charming? I walked to my dressing room and saw that Anna had handpicked a dress for me. It was umm... typical Anna.

I wore it with great difficulty and proceeded for breakfast at the dining hall. Jack covered his mouth trying hard not to laugh. I mean who wouldn't? I was in an orange and green fluffed up gown. I had a corset underneath which restricted my breathing to a certain extent. A big metal cage which acted as the foundation for the bottom half of my dress. All I could do was sigh.

"You look amazing Elsa!" Anna said in between her giggles.

"I hope you're satisfied now. With having your revenge on me with this ridiculous attire." I said calmly and added "Just don't think of making me run in this. Or I swear, I will practically disown you."

"What on earth are you talking about? I never knew you had such funny clothes. And moreover, I'd never have expected you to wear something like this ever." Anna giggled.

"What do you mean?" I asked her raising an eyebrow. And then Jack started to laugh loudly. I turned to him and understood immediately. "You made me wear this?!"

"Yeah!" He managed to say between his chuckles. "You look ridiculous!"

"Oh really?" I asked him *note the sarcasm* as I saw him chuckle. I sway my hands and made a new dress out of ice. A simple blue long gown. The colour of Jack's eyes.

Jack stopped laughed and stared at me. Anna laughed at Jack's expression and whispered something in his ear that sounded to me like 'burnnnn...'

I smiled and sat down next to Jack at the table.

"You look decent." He said as he looked into his plate. I gave him death glares, but he hardly noticed them. "When are you going to teach me to make a snowman? Like Olaf I mean. Alive. Not... you know, un-alive."

I hit him with my plate and said "First you pass a comment that's... I don't know weird and now you expect me to teach you something in return?! Is that how things work with you guardians? The ones on the naughty list getting the best gifts?!"

"Jeez Elsa, calm down. I thought you wouldn't really appreciate it if I said 'beautiful' since we're friends..." Jack said and laughed. Why did he always emphasize on the 'friends' part?

"Hmm... Good that you're doing it right. You were never good with your words anyways." I said and turned away.

"Hey! I'm good with words!" Jack said immediately, evidently hurt, or at least pretending to be hurt.

"Prove it." I said still looking away, my head held high.

"Okay!" He said with enthusiasm and continued "I.. Um... Hmm."

"See. Better luck in the future!" I said cheerily and took a bite out of my breakfast. And then I felt Jack's hand on my chin and he turned my head to face him.

"I may have not made you, but you're the prettiest snowflake on earth." (A/N: I think the word snowflake is overused in fanfictions, though I put it in to make the line cheesy.) He said softly. For a moment right there (Just a moment), I believed him and my heart melted. I resisted the urge to look down to see if I could see liquid heart on the floor.

"No physical actions. And that's the worst pick-up line ever." I said as I mentally shook my head and Jack laughed. The rest of the breakfast continued with silence. I liked it that way.

Once we were done with breakfast, Jack had to break the silence. "So Elsa... Will you do the honors of teaching me how to build a talking snowman?"

"Oh I will Jack." I said and smiled. "When?"

"Right now. Come on." He gestured me to follow and left the hall.

I obliged and followed him out. The cold breeze hit my face softly and I smiled. "So... Where do we start?"

"You tell me. Let's see how well you can teach." Jack said.

"Okay." I agreed and made motions with her hands and created snow. "Think jack. Think of the best moments of your life. Fill the snowman with the happiest moments of your life."

"Okay. Like this?" Jack asked as he used his staff to make a snowman. Well, a snow-woman. She looked really pretty. But not very much alive.

"Ummm... are you sure it's alive?" I asked him doubtfully and went really close to the snow-woman and it sprung alive. "Aaargh!" I yelled surprised.

"Not very polite. I'm Keeli." The she-snowman said.

"I'm sorry. I'm Elsa. This is Jack. He made you." I introduced ourselves to Keeli.

"Hello Elsa. Hello jack. You should let it out soon." Keeli told Jack.

"Let what out?" I asked confused.

Jack looked elsewhere and said "Nothing. She's blabbering." Jack gave Keeli a glare and Keeli giggled.

"You have inside jokes with a snow-woman whom you just made?

"ummm... Maybe?" jack tried to let put confidently, but it came out as a squeal.

"Okay then. Let's introduce Keeli to Olaf..." I said, though I was curious. "I don't think Olaf will be really happy if he finds out that there's a snow-woman here and he hasn't met her yet.'

"Who's Olaf?" Keeli asked Jack with awe and Jack began explaining...

A/N hey! Long chapter! Yay! Don't hate me if I'm updating slowly. having a writer's block... :( The HoO fanfiction is coming out really well. And I wanna thank my friend Diya for suggesting ideas. ;) thanks!
