He breaks up with you:

You and Nick had been dating for two years. You thought things were going great. They had seemed to be. The past week he had been distant. You had wondered if anything happened but never asked since he was always pushed you away. You knew not to bother him.

You were eating dinner with him. It was silent. The only bother was your cat who was begging.

"Charlie stop it. Mommy isn't feeding you until six thirty."

Nick cleared his throat. He seemed to be annoyed.

"Maybe you should feed him before you eat dinner."

"I couldn't since I was making dinner Nick."

"Well go feed him so he'll stop bothering you."

You sighed as you got up. You weren't going to bother with Nick anymore. You decided to go feed Charlie so he would stop, and so Nick would too.

Once you fed Charlie you went back to the table.

"Could you do the dishes while I shower?"

"It's only going to interfere with the shower."

You were getting annoyed.

"Okay Mr. Attitude, could you do them after I get out of the shower?"

"Yeah I can."

"Thank you."

He didn't respond. Instead he opened his beer. You ignored him and went towards the bathroom. You stopped by the hall closet to grab your two towels. One for your hair and the other for your body. Nick hated that you wasted the towels. You didn't care. You bought the towels. Why did it matter?

You were in the out of the shower now. You just finished brushing your hair. You had your pyjama's on. You decided to go out to see if he had done the dishes. It had been about twenty minutes since you got out of the shower so he should have had done them by now. There were only a few, so he didn't have much.

You walked out into the kitchen to see he was still sitting down. He was reading the morning paper you had picked up in the lobby.

"Nick I asked you to do the dishes."

"Yeah and? I was finishing the sports section."

You got flustered. Nick didn't like sports that much. So why he was reading it beat you.

"You don't even like sports. You told me you'd do them after I got out. I was finished almost twenty minutes go."

"So? I have all night. There's no rush."

"Whatever, I'll just do them."

"Good then I can go have a shower."

You were even more flustered now. You just ran the water. That was something else he was going to complain about it.

"I pay for the utilities. So don't run it."

"How would you like for me to wash them?"

"In the dishwasher like I had planned. Just go sit in the living room and watch your shows like you usually do."

You listened to him so you didn't have another argument. But before you went he started again.

"Aren't you gonna put them in?"

"No why would I? You said you were going to."
