Her Suppression. (#2 Obsession series).

Chapter 5. 🙁

"Did you enjoy your time yesterday?" Ednil asks his daughter.
"Yeah, I did." A sweet blush appears on Angela's face remembering her time with Zayon.

"Am I missing something?" Her mom asks with a narrow gaze.
"No, nothing much," Ednil replies fully concentrating on his breakfast.
"Explain." Alicia raises her voice in a threatening manner.
"Um... Actually Zayon, he...he..." Angela is unable to form a proper sentence as she knows her mom will get angry if she comes to know what Zayon did especially the sleepover part.

"It's really nothing much, love. Zayon came to visit her when we weren't there as he finished his work late and so my Angel is happy that my prince and her best friend didn't ditch her on her birthday." Ednil covers up for his daughter.

"It has more to it," Alicia mumbles and leaves the table after finishing her breakfast.

"So you knew it all along then why you hide it from mom, maybe if you wouldn't have hidden it from her she wouldn't have got this much angry," Angela questions her dad.
"Believe me, Angel, she wouldn't have allowed him to do a single thing," Ednil replies with a sad smile before going behind Alicia.

Zayon was able to do everything only with Ednil's help. Before Zayon's arrival, Ednil sent all his family members for buying a gift for Angela. Then he booked a table for them so they had their lunch outside. He then asked them to bring the birthday cake with them while coming home. When they arrived only a little time was left for the party to begin so they straight away headed towards their room to get ready.

Only Casper sensed something fishy when he heard a voice from their guest room while he was heading towards his room. When he looked inside he found Zayon and after listening to everything he blackmailed him. Zayon promised him to take him to a club with a false identity.

Ednil even sends away Zayon's car so that his wife won't know about his arrival. Ednil doesn't have any idea how Zayon reached his home but he was happy watching him leave before Alicia woke up.

"How can you forgive him so easily?" Drayton asks Angela when he sees Zayon and her talking joyfully. Angela and Zayon look at each other with a sweet smile on their faces and Drayton feels suspicious, "did I miss something?"

"Actually you missed the best thing," Angela replies.
"And what's that best thing?" Drayton asks and she tells him everything how Zayon made her feel like an angel.

"That's why my bf forgave me," Zayon concludes.
"Wait, I'm a girl so I can't be your boyfriend so I'm not your bf," Angela replies.
"Who told you bf means boyfriend only?" Zayon asks.
"Then what does your bf means?" Angela asks.
"It means Baseball Fairy." With his reply, both Drayton and Zayon burst out laughing and Angela throws her fries at both of them.

"Thank God mom doesn't know about your sleepover or else she would have given a long lecture." Angela comments.
"I think she dislikes me. If not fully at least a bit." Zayon says.

"Why do you think like that? She never behaved rudely with you anytime?" Drayton asks.
"Long story short. When we were six due to a certain misunderstanding I kissed Angela and since then Aunt Alice doesn't leave us alone and attended, even when we used to play." Zayon replies in an irritating tone.

"It's not a big thing to kiss your friend at six," Drayton says.
"It wasn't a normal six-year old's kiss. It was a kiss more suitable for an adult." Zayon's cheeks become red and Drayton nods his head in agreement.

"Let's go to see our results." Saying so Drayton leaves with Angela and Zayon following behind.

In the night...

"Come in,"  Angela says when she hears a knock on her door. She's in a happy mood as  Zayon's messaged her that he has another surprise for her when she'll come to his house tomorrow for a family get together.

All her happy mood disappears when she sees her mom entering her room.
"Wow! Who did this?" Alicia asks when she looks at her daughter's ceiling.
"Um...Zayon." Angela replies not meeting her mom's gaze.

Sitting beside her daughter Alicia says, "relax Angel I'm not going to eat you. Such things happen in your age. I too faced such a situation when I was of your age. I know he regards you as his best friend and I wholeheartedly appreciate his work."

"So you don't hate him?" Angela asks happily.
"Who told you I hate him?" Her mom asks.
"Actually Zayon thinks you dislike him," Angela replies honestly.

"Oh dear! It's not like that. I don't hate him.
I'm concerned about your feelings. You may keep your feelings suppressed but you can never hide them from me. I'm your mom after all and I know you like him more than just a friend." Alicia says.

"No mom, he's only my best friend and nothing more," Angela replies hastily at which her mom chuckles, "I too experienced a similar situation, dear. As you know your dad, Kay and I were best friends since school times. From the start, I had a huge crush on Ed. Your dad was unaware of my feelings and my heart broke each time I saw him with a new girlfriend."

"I'm sure dad didn't hurt you intentionally." Angela defends her dad.
"Yeah, daddy's girl that what your father told me later on. But the heartbreak that I suffered for years wasn't easy. If you are falling for Zay you must at least be assured that he too feels the same for you because if he doesn't then I don't want you to suffer from heartbreak. I see the care, an attraction in your eyes for him and that's why I try to create distance between you two so that you won't hurt your feeling at the end. There's still time before your attraction turns to love, control your feelings." Alicia explains to her daughter.

Angela doesn't have the strength to tell her mom that it's too late now. She is already deeply and madly in love with Zayon.

After a small pause, Alicia says, " always remember one-sided love mostly brings nothing except a heartbreak. If your love is true, if he's really meant for you, one day he'll surely come to you." Saying so she leaves her daughter's room.
