Chapter 12. 😲

"Hey Mr Nobody, can you please give the ball to me?" A small boy asks Zayon who is holding a ball which came in his direction.

Zayon smiles at the boy and asks, "What's your name, little master?"

"My name is Dayon. Nice to meet you Mr Nobody." The kid replies.

"Hey, my name is Zayon." Zayon corrected him.

"But I know you are Mr Nobody." The kid protests.

"Dayon, Dayon..." Someone calls the kid.

"Ok bye, I need to go." The kid takes the ball from Zayon and runs towards a woman who is calling him. Zayon watches him as he leaves the garden with his mom. Strange the kid doesn't resemble his mom in any sense. He laughs when he notices that the kid is having the same hair colour as him.

Next day...

"Congratulations Mr Pride, the deal is finalised." Mr Tennyson shakes hand with Zayon.

After finalising the deal with Tennyson Zayon heads towards his hotel to take some rest as he hardly slept yesterday checking all the files, presentations and everything for today's meeting.

On his way home he stops in front of a cafe. He parks his car and is about to get out when his gaze lands on the same kid from yesterday. Then his gaze moves towards the woman who is holding the little kid's hand. His jaws drop to the floor, with his eyes wide open. Finally, after five years, he saw her, his bestie, his Angel.

Zayon wants to go near her and hug her tightly but he's also aware of Angela's feeling. She doesn't want anyone of them to find her. So he waits silently in his car until she sits in her car and leaves. He then follows her without being noticed. Angela's car stops near an apartment. Taking Dayon in her arms she enters inside.

Zayon is beyond happy to see his Angela after five long years but his smile fades away as soon as he remembers Dayon's face.  Angela and Dayon shares similar looks. Zayon suddenly feels suffocated, as if someone is strangling him. He feels a sudden pain in his chest as if someone has stabbed him. There's no doubt that Dayon is Angela's son and this means only one thing that Angela has settled down with someone. He felt as if his whole world has collapsed. He has been waiting for her all these five years only to find that she's married someone and is having a son with her husband.

Tears start forming in his eyes. If her happiness is there with someone else then he'll keep his feelings suppressed forever, with this thought he leaves from there but he is determined to gain her forgiveness.

That whole day and night Zayon couldn't sleep. Guilt is eating him. Even if she doesn't want anyone to find her, he still needs to apologise for what he did. Maybe then he'll be able to get his best friend back. It doesn't matter if she is back in his life only as a friend.

Zayon decides to meet her and apologise for his mistake. Maybe Angela will forgive him and will visit New York after knowing how her sudden disappearance has affected everyone.

Next day he buys a musical greeting and flowers for her and decides to gift her before meeting her. Taking the help of a delivery boy he sends that greeting at Angela's place. He doesn't reveal his identity but only a hint.

Hearing the doorbell Angela opens the door. A delivery boy gives her the flowers and a parcel. Afterwards, when she opens it she finds a greeting inside. As she opens it one of her favourite songs begins...

I brought you flowers to make you smile...
Haven't said you're beautiful now in a while...
Take my hand, baby you're still the one I need.
I want you to know, how much I care,
I miss the times we use to share...

A strange feeling enters her heart upon hearing this song. She gets confused about whether she's feeling happy or sad or both.
She instantly closes the greeting only to find something written on its back in a way too familiar handwriting which she'll never forget.

'To my BF...'
My Angel won't you be mine???

Angela falls down on her knees as if someone has snatched the earth beneath her feet.

"Hey, mom, what's this? Is it from dad?" She hears her son asking but doesn't find her voice to reply. Just then the door opens and someone enters inside.

"Dad came." Saying so Dayon goes towards the person who enters inside.
