Chapter 14.💣

"Hello!" Ednil answers the call.

"Dad." This single word puts him in a shocking state.

"Angela, is it you?" Ednil asks.

"It's me, dad. How are you?" Angela asks Ednil.

"I can't believe this, you called after five whole years and you are asking how am I? Are you mad Angel? You took my heart away with you girl, only God knows how I survived all these years." Ednil's voice gives up as he began to sob and so does Angela.

"I'm sorry dad, I'm so sorry but I had an important reason." She tries to defend herself.

"What was your so important reason that you left us for five whole years?" This time Ednil asks in a raised voice but when he doesn't receive an answer he asks in a low voice, "tell me where are you?"

"I'm in London." She replies.

"Ok, tell me the address and we all will come there by the first flight that'll be available," Ednil orders her and she disconnects the call after telling him her address.

Ednil then books the tickets for London and informs his wife about Angela. What Alicia feels after hearing the news is beyond happiness as she'll be seeing her daughter after five whole years.

What's up man, did you even saw the time before calling me?" Kayon says in an irritated voice.

"Listen, sir, it's an emergency and you need to go to London as soon as possible." Kayon's ex-assistant Liam tells him.

"Is everything alright?" Did anything happen to Zayon? I already told your son to look after him and if he has failed to do so I'll make sure he suffers the consequences." Kayon shouts.

"Leo took good care of him. He even followed Zayon till Angela's place even when Zayon prohibited him, still, he secretly followed him but after going inside Zayon returned within a few minutes and straight away sat inside his car and started driving recklessly. Leo tried to call him but Zayon didn't receive his call and before Leo could reach him Zayon met with an accident and now he's admitted in a hospital. He's out of danger but his right leg is fractured." Liam tells him everything. 

"Wait you told Angela, is it, my Angel, Ed's daughter?" Kayon asks shocked.

"Yes, Leo told me that she's the same Angela whom we were searching for last five years and I also booked three tickets for London," Liam replies.

"Make it four." Kayon then disconnects the call.

After both the families reach London...

Ednil decides to share the good news of meeting Angela with Kayon. So he calls him, "Hello!" Kayon says receiving the call.

"Hi, Kay where are you?" Ednil greets back and asks.

"Actually, I'm at a hospital right now," Kayon replies.

"Is everything all right?" Ednil asks.

"No Ed, Zayon met with an accident and his right leg is fractured. Right now he's out of danger but he's severely wounded." Kayon replies.

"How did it happen?" Ednil asks.

"I don't know. He's still unconscious. All I know is that he met with an accident after returning from Angel's place." Kayon replies in a low voice.

"What, where are you? Ednil gets confused.

"I'm in London right now," Kayon replies.

"I'm also in London. When Angela called me after five years I booked the first flight and came to London with Alice (Alicia/ his wife). Just tell me the address and I'll be there." Ednil and Kayon then disconnect the call after exchanging the address.

After some time...

"How is he now?" Kayon and Crystal's head turns towards the direction of the voice which they are hearing after five whole years.

"I'm sorry." Angela apologises with a lowered head when they don't reply.

"For what?" Kayon asks getting confused.

"He is in this condition because of me. He came to my place and maybe he got shocked to see my family and he immediately left from there." Angela replies.

Before Kayon could say anything further his eyes turn towards the voice of a little boy beside Angela, "mommy, who are these people?"

"Mommy?" Kayon and Crystal give a questioning look towards Angela.

"He's your grandpa Kayon and she's your grandma Crystal." Angela points towards Kayon and Crystal.

"Is he your son?" Kayon asks in a shocked tone.

"Yes," Angela replies.

"He's so cute." Crystal pulls Dayon's cheeks going towards him and asks, "where is his father, I mean your husband?"

Angela is about to reply but a voice behind her interrupts her, "I'm Dayon's dad."

Words get stuck in their mouths seeing none other than Drayton. Tears appear in Shelby's eyes who's standing behind Kayon. Drayton's eyes fall on her. She was a teenager when he last saw her five years ago but now she has developed into a beautiful woman but the glow in her eyes and the cheerful face which she had was nowhere to be seen.

Drayton didn't expect her here. He wanted to mock Kayon but after looking at Shelby he regrets his decision.

"Oh... Congratulations Angela." Saying so, Shelby quickly leaves from there and right behind her Kayon too leaves but not before giving a deadly glare to Drayton.
