Chapter 13. 💔

Dayon raises his hands and jumps in excitement upon seeing his dad. His dad picks him up and look's at Angela.

"Hey what happened?" He asks Angela. Without giving him an answer she hands over the greeting to him.

"Who gave it?" He gets confused.

"At first I thought you sent it for me but after reading the lines on the back page I'm sure it's from Zayon." She says.

"So what?" He shrugs as if it's nothing.

"Can't you understand, if he comes back in my life he'll..." Her words get cut off by him, "even if he comes back nothing will change. We are a family now and once he'll come to know about this I'm sure he'll never show his face again."

"Who will not show his face dad?" Dayon asks.

"Your uncle Zayon, dear." His dad replies.

"Who's uncle Zayon?" Dayon asks.

"My childhood friend and Mr Nobody," Angela tells him as one day when Dayon saw Zayon's photo in Angela's cupboard he asked her about the boy in the photo and she told him that his name is Mr Nobody and since that day Dayon thinks Zayon's name is Mr Nobody.

"Now come on stop worrying. By the way, have you prepared the lunch or shall we go out?" Dayon's dad asks Angela.

"No need for that, I'll serve the lunch till then you go and freshen up." Angela smiles and takes Dayon from his arms and giving a last glance to the greeting she goes towards the kitchen.

After some time...

Angela is quiet during lunch and this makes him worry about her. "For God's sake, stop worrying."

"I'm afraid." She silently replies.

"You don't need to be afraid. Dayon is my son, we are a family and this reality won't change for him." He assures her by placing his hand on her's and she nods her head in agreement.

"Mom is uncle Zayon evil?" Dayon asks.

"No." "Yes." Dayon's parents reply at the same time.

"Should I believe mom or should I believe dad?" Dayon gets confused but Angela tries to clear his confusion, "we mean to say is that he was a good person in my childhood but now he isn't."

"Why he became evil?" Dayon asks.

"Because he is heartless. They are arrogant, proud and heartless people who only think about themselves and not about others feelings." His dad replies.

"It's enough." Angela stops him from speaking ill about Zayon and his family as it's not like they knew about that incident and she can never blame his family for his mistakes. She can't even blame Zayon fully for that mistake as she too was equally at fault and she accepts that.

At night...

Looking at his own reflection in the mirror Zayon says, "today I'll finally ask her for forgiveness. I'll clear all the misunderstandings between us. Today nothing will stop me from expressing my feelings towards her. My Angel today you'll be mine again." After spraying Angela's favourite cologne he leaves his hotel room.

Sitting inside his car he heads towards Angela's place. On his way, he stops near a flower shop and buys a bouquet of roses.

Stopping his car in front of Angela's apartment he comes out of his car. He again looks at himself in the side view mirror and straightens his clothes and taking the bouquet in his hand heads straight towards the elevator.

After reaching the third floor he comes out of the elevator and stops in his track seeing a specific person walking in front of him. He rubs his eyes in disbelief and again looks forward. 'No I'm not drunk.' He says to himself. He still clearly remembers the way that person used to walk. He only became muscular beside this nothing much changed.

After a few seconds, he comes out of his shocked state but till then that person has walked away. Zayon decided to follow him and thus he knocks at the same door where that person just entered.

When the door opened Zayon's mind stops working. There seems to be a total silence from both sides until Dayon speaks, "hey Mr Nobody's here dad."

"Dad!" Zayon repeats in a shocked tone.

When he doesn't get any reaction Dayon looks at Angela and asks her, "mom did Mr Nobody came here to do something bad?"

"Mom!" Zayon again replies with a shocked tone but this time his voice is very low. When reality clicks his mind anger fills his senses. Controlling his anger his hand wipes the wetness that he felt on his cheeks. He didn't know when a lone tear escaped from his eyes. He himself replies to Dayon, "yes, I'm Mr Nobody for your family but I never intended to do anything bad."

Throwing the bouquet at Angela's feet Zayon runs away from there as he didn't want his destroyer to see him breaking down.

Before Angela could follow him, someone grips her hand and stops her. Tears start flowing down her cheeks. She tried to forget Zayon all these years and she believed it too that she's successful in forgetting him but after seeing him in front of her after so many years all her walls that she built around her heart crumbled down.

"He came, he came, he came..." She fell on her knees and repeated. She's confused about her feeling, whether she's happy to see him or whether she's afraid of his arrival.

"For God's sake, stop it. I'm there for you and I won't let anything happen to you both." Hearing his words Angela gets up and shouts, "till when will you protect us? Now he came and I know him better than you. As he isn't living at peace he won't let us live in peace and while doing so if he'll find the truth my world will end."

"Have faith in God. I assure you I'll do every possible thing to keep him away from us. I think now is the right time to contact your family. Maybe we'll need help if Zayon finds out the truth." He gives her the mobile.

Red is what Zayon sees. He's red with anger. Anger, hurt, pain, betrayal all such emotions rise out from his heart at the same time. She betrayed him. He waited for Angela all these years, all the while blaming himself, crying for so many nights and praying for her safety and well being and now he finally found her only to find her well-settled having her own son whom she showed him as Mr Nobody, as a bad person.

Did Angela never felt his love? Did she really love someone other than him? Did her husband do this to take revenge from him and his family? Many such thoughts crowded his mind increasing his anger.

The moment he starts his car, his mobile starts ringing. He looks at the caller ID, it's none other than his personal assistant Leo. Keeping his mobile aside Zayon starts driving recklessly. Again and again, the image of that little boy with his parents came in his mind. He isn't concentrating on his drive. Suddenly bright lights from another vehicle blind his vision. Before he could think anything he feels as if his car is flying, that's when he feels unbearable pain all over his body and he remembers that he forgot to fix his seat belt before starting to drive. Again the image of the little boy with his family comes in his mind and before darkness consumes him he whispers, "death is better than the pain of betrayal from you my Angel."
