Chapter 1. 😤

"Come on Angel, come fast Zayon is waiting," Alicia called her daughter.

"Coming mom," Angela replied coming down the stairs. "Bye mom, bye dad." Saying so she headed outside without listening to her dad's reply, "Have a lovely ride."

"Let's go, Zay." She told Zayon after sitting inside his car. "Can this Angel land on the earth early, at least for once," Zayon told Angela in a bitter tone.

"You could have come inside." She replied.
"I'm not in a mood to listen to your dad's weird comments. It seems to me that there is something going on in his head whenever he sees me." Zayon replied.

"Stop your sarcastic comments now. It's my dads wish that I should go with you till my new car arrives or else Dray would have happily picked me up. I never asked you to pick me up so don't act all irritated in front of me. She told him in a harsh tone but didn't defend her dad as many times hearing her dads comments she too felt embarrassed.

"Like I was dying to pick you up. Don't forget my parents too forced me to do this." He too replied in an equally harsh tone. Angela just pulled her tongue out in return and Zayon started his car ignoring her.

"So your car didn't arrive yet, I guess," Drayton told Angela when he saw her coming out of Zayon's car. "Yeah, otherwise what else can be the reason for me to take a lift from Mr Grumpy." She replied.

"I heard that," Zayon told coming after her.
"That's the reason why I told it so loudly," Angela replied.

"We are getting late. Can both of you pause your arguments for now?" Drayton asked them. "I'm not interested in wasting my time arguing with this silly girl/ this grumpy boy." Zayon and Angela replied at the same time.
They then headed towards their class.

As usual, Angela got seated beside Drayton and Zayon sat alone. At first, Angela and Zayon used to sit beside each other since the time they were in the kinder garden until Drayton joined their group. Zayon and Angela never fought in their childhood. When Drayton was a newcomer he was bullied by other boys and so Zayon stood up for him and thus he included him as their friend but soon Zayon and Angela's friendship changed. They began to argue a lot. Still, none gave up on another.

"I can drop you, Angela. Come let's go on my bike." Drayton asked Angela. "No way," Zayon replied before Angela.

"And why so?" She asked him. "Um... Because you are afraid of high speed." Zayon replied after taking a pause.

"That can be handled. I can rife at a low speed." Drayton replied with a shrug. "Come let's go." Saying so, Angela pulled Drayton by his arms and they headed towards his bike.

"What about uncle Eddy?" Zayon asked.
"What about your dad? Is he having any problem if you ride on a bike?" Drayton asked confused. "No not at all and Zay its the matter of my concern, not yours," Angela replied and went off with Drayton. What she didn't saw was someone clenching his fist and someone else leaving the parking with a smirk.

"Come inside Dray." Angela invited Drayton to come inside her home when he dropped her. "Next time Angela." Saying so he went off.

"Did my prince had some important work, that he didn't drop you today?" She heard her fathers voice behind her. "Stop it, dad. He's not my brother or something and Dray is much better than him to accompany for a ride. You can trust him too." Angela replied angrily.

"I know Angel but I feel relieved when you are with Zayon. It doesn't mean that I don't trust Drayton, he's a nice boy or else my prince won't have included him in your group." Ednil (Angela's dad) replied.
