Didn't forget about this story, I promise. Just been a bit busy. And stuck. Hope y'all enjoy this.

Charlotte and I stayed home during games. Sidney was paranoid that she would get some sort of illness from on of the other kids in the wive's suite. I didn't argue with him because it was easier for me to stay home with our daughter. She was usually asleep by the time he got home anyway.
Then playoffs rolled around and I really wanted to go to an actual hockey game. Not just watch it on tv.
"I'm going to the game tonight and Charlotte is coming with me." I told him as we ate lunch. He looked up and gave me a 'stop joking around' look.
"No you're not." He said with a mouth full of food.
"Oh but I am." I was standing my ground on this. While we did go out a lot with Charlie, I was tired of watching hockey on a screen. I wanted to be back in Consol with everyone else.
Don't get me wrong, I loved that my husband was so protective over the two of us, but it got a little suffocating at times.
He sighed, knowing he wasn't going to win the argument. He rarely did, anyway. I wasn't sure why he tried. It was kind of cute actually. Silly boy thinks he can win...
"I'll see you after the game." Sidney kissed my forhead and did the same with Charlotte.
I wouldn't be leaving too much later than him, I just had to do something with my hair and get Chalie dressed up for her first game.
I actually dressed her up for all the games but went a little over the top with this. I had ordered a matching flower headband and tutu to go with her mini jersey that says "Charlie" with an 87 on the back. I settled for a Penguins quarterzip and pulled my hair up into a top knot.
I never understood how the wives or fiancees or girlfriends always dressed up. Yeah, it is fun to dress up every once in a while, but I didn't have anyone to impress. Somehow Sidney still loved me.
We had the choice of having seats with the other wives or going up to the suite. For warm-ups and part of the first period we stayed down on the ice. Sidney skated by, tapping on the glass to get our daughter's attention. She was honestly more interested in Geno making faces at her than she was in her own father. Sid gave his teammate a slight push and got his daughter's attention. Charlie started cooing and bouncing around in my arms.
As I walked back to the suite, everyone talked about how cute my daughter was, as if I didn't already know. Me and Sidney made a gorgeous little girl. We might even make a few more, who knows.
I grabbed a plate of food and put a few of Charlie's snacks on it as we watched the hockey game in front of us.
Sidney had put up a couple points, but not a goal yet. It was a close game, meaning I was pacing around the suite with Charlotte in my arms. It was late in the third when Sidney scored the game winning goal. My daughter started kicking her legs, laughing along with the rest of us.
I met Sidney at his car after the game. It usually took him a while to get there since he would always stop and sign whatever he could, but I think he wanted to see his daughter. He kissed me and then took Charlotte from my arms.
"Daddy scored for you tonight, Charlie. Yes he did." She started giggling and moving her arms up and down. "I'm really glad you guys came tonight." He told me, still paying attention to our daughter.
