Days came and went. All the volunteers worked very hard. Things at the camp slowly started to get better. More and more families were being reunited everyday. The victims had begun receiving aid and compensation from the government. Relocations were underway.

As time went by, Loki and Carene had become quite close and comfortable with each other. They were now officially a couple. It had been many days since the last time Loki had thought about his mission. He had never before received the acceptance and attention and love that he received here and as childish as it may sound, he wanted it for as long as he could have it, even though his ego would never let him consciously accept it. And somewhere within Loki- in a place long forgotten- his heart- he learnt that he didn't need to be king in order to be accepted and respected.

It was now late in the evening. There were very few people that now remained at camp. Carene was sitting, legs stretched out on a mat. Loki was resting with his head in her lap, keeping himself busy by repeatedly tossing a steal glass into the air. Carene was playing with his hair.

"We'd be leaving in a few days, you know. Things here are almost wrapped up."

"Where would you go?"

"Home, obviously. You?"

Loki remained silent, still tossing the glass into the air, not knowing the answer to the question himself. Carene looked at him thoughtfully,

"Hey Lesley"

He stopped and looked at her.

"Tell me something about your family or home or where you're from. Anything."

He simply smiled at her the way he always did when she asked him something like that, which basically meant 'I'm not saying'.

"Oh come on! I'm your girlfriend."

His smile only grew bigger and became borderline cheeky, Nope.

She however, didn't give up. She bent her head and began kissing him on his lips but when he started to respond she pulled away and grinned at him. He pouted but still shook his head, Not working.

"I'll answer anything, you ask me in return."

"Really?" He asked in surprise.

She shrugged, "Yeah. Answers for answers." She replied, happy to have convinced him.

"Okay. I have some unfinished business though. So let me finish that first."

"What unfin-"

Before she could complete her sentence, he pulled her down by her neck with one hand and wrapped his other hand around her waist. He kissed her- correction- snogged her. She placed her hand on his chest and responded passionately moaning with pleasure. When they finally pulled apart, both their cheeks were flushed and pupils dilated, wide smiles on their faces.

"Was that supposed to distract me?"

"That was just unfinished business" Loki replied grinning, licking his lips for Carene's benefit.

"Your business is finished. Now talk." Said Carene laughing, even though she ended up staring when he licked his lips. She resisted the urge to let her question pass and just kiss him again.
