Walking with James towards the cafeteria, my stomach growled. My mom denied I have breakfast, saying that I should get used to the food. I mean, I get it. You want me to get used to the food, but denying me breakfast? Hell no, you don't take breakfast from me.

"Hey.. James?" I said, looking up at him, my light brown eyes meeting his light blue ones.

"Yeah?" He said, looking down at my 5'6 self.

"We are going to eat after this... right?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't we? Are you hungry?" He said, seeming concerned.

"No! Not whatsoever!" I lied. "When I eat, may I sit with you and your friends?" I asked him nicely. "If you have any." I teased with him.

"I have friends. There is James, Kirk, Lars, the annoying one, Cliff and Jason. They're all my friends. And.." He slung his arm around your shoulders "You."

Blushing, I looked down.

"Oh, there is the cafeteria!" He said, taking me by the wrist and running towards the building. Letting my wrist go, we walked into the cafeteria. Not many people were there, only about 10 there.

"Whelp, my friends aren't here. I'll take you to our usual table." He said, taking me to a table which was empty.

Waiting for his friends, I talked with James until a tall, guy walked up. He was a little taller then James, with Ginger hair and brown eyes. Straight behind him, was a guy just about a little taller then me. He seemed Filipino, he had long black curly hair and a baby face. The ginger haired guy sat down next to James, and said quite loudly...

"What's up fuckers?" He said with pride. I looked over at him, my sparkling light brown eyes meeting his brown eyes.

Looking up, with a smartass reply, I said "Appears to be the ceiling. But, I don't know."

The ginger haired man and James laughed, and the black haired guy let off a small chuckle.

"Now, what's your name, fine lady?" Cliff asked me, smiling at me.

"Veronica. What's your name, fine sir?" I said, returning the feeling.

"Cliff.  This awkward little guy here is Kirk."
