After a long busy day of classes, it is finally science class, the last period of the day. I usually sit between Yunho and Mingi in this class, because Hongjoong is a grade higher than us, along with Seonghwa. Wooyoung, Yeosang and San happened to be in the same class as us. But just as I sat down, I saw a shadow on my table. I looked up and saw Suzy.

"Oh, hi Suzy!" I grinned, eyeing the classroom around me, looking for Yunho. He hasn't arrived yet. Oh well.

"Hi," Suzy smiled kindly at me. "Do you know where...um, Yunho is?"

I tried not to cackle, knowing Yunho's expression if I tell him about this. "Oh, well, I don't think he's here yet," I say honestly, looking around at my surroundings. I spot Wooyoung sitting at the corner of the room, and hurriedly looked away.

"Oh, okay," Suzy looked a bit disappointed, but smiled kindly at me before leaving. I became giddy and couldn't hold myself in when Yunho entered the room.

"Yunhoooooo!" I squealed excitedly. Yunho looked puzzled at my sudden excitement and raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"What did you do?" he demanded.

"Nothing, except for talking to Suzy a while ago who was looking for you!" I grin widely.

Immediately a blush covered his face and he tried to hide his face with his hands. "Argh, if only I came earlier..."

"Dude, you should at least be grateful!" I say, punching his shoulder playfully. "Suzy came looking for you! We should be celebrating!"

Yunho raised his eyebrows at me. "You seem to be more excited about this fact than I am."

"Pfftt, you just don't want to show that you're secretly glad," I smirked smugly at him.

Yunho sighed exasperatedly and plopped onto his seat.

Not long after, the teacher continued her lesson. While she did so I stole glances at Wooyoung, who sat on the other side of the room, squashed beside Yeosang and San. He seemed to be listening to every single word the teacher is saying, and writing every word into his notebook carefully. I blinked and tried not to stare at him but decided to turn my attention back to my teacher.

My teacher, Ms Bae, decided to assign our homeworks early. But just as I was about to write it down in my notebook, he announced something that made a chill run down my spine.

"Class," Ms Bae says. "I have noticed that most of you have been slacking off in your homework. Because of this, I have decided to assign you guys homework buddies."

"Homework buddies?" Mingi choked. I paled immediately. Yunho also didn't look very pleased.

"Ms Bae?" a girl in my class I recognize as Soojung raised her hand nervously. Ms Bae called on her, and she continued, "Can we choose our own partners?"

"No," Ms Bae says gently but firmly, earning a groan from my classmates. She looked unfazed by it and continued talking. "If each of you choose your own partners, you will end up being with your best friends and end up slacking off instead of doing your homework properly. I can't have that."

All of us continued to grumble incoherent complaints, but Ms Bae ignored us and picked up a piece of paper. She then proceeded into announcing names.

For some reason, I felt slightly giddy at the idea of getting homework buddies. Thought I'm upset that I'm probably not going to be with Yunho or Mingi in this, I still feel ecstatic about this idea. Is this because I'm hoping to be paired with Wooyoung? My cheeks turned tomato red at the thought and I attempt to shake it away.

"Yunho and Suzy!" Ms Bae called. I froze and turned to Yunho beside me, who looked shocked, his mouth gaping and his face pale. Then the blush came to his cheeks and he pressed his lips into an embarrassed line, resisting the attempt to bury his face into his cheeks.
