Chapter 3

My mom slammed the door shut then peered at the both of us Aiolos hands were on my hips while I was facing him with my legs wrapped around him… this is not a good position…Aiolos lifted me off of him and sat me on the ground then got up and put his hands up.   

“Would you like to tell me what you two were doing?” My mom hissed

“Ma’am I assure you we were doing nothing-“mom cut him off

“It didn’t look like nothing.” She looked at me and I swear I froze like a deer in headlights she has never been this mad before…. It’s kind of scary.

“Well it was nothing, we were just playing a game and Aglaia won and jumped up and slipped.” He lied

“Then how did her legs get wrapped around you oh so tightly.” She said in a sarcastic happy voice

“uh.” He blushed and looked to me, my face got heated

“Mom it was a pure accident I swear.” I stood up as well and walked over to them

“Accident or not I don’t want him here until he can act like a gentleman in my house.” My mom walked to the door and opened it. Harsh

I walked to him and gave him a hug. “If you still want to talk jump to my room, you know what it looks like.”  I got on my toes and I whispered in his ear, he’s taller than I expected

“Ok, it’s fun hanging out with you so I’ll be up and I don’t really want to go back home.” He snickered

“Ok then I’ll talk to you later,” I said out loud as I got my footing

“yeah.” He waved then left

Mom closed the door then sighed and looked at me “did anything really happen, you know you can tell me.”

“Mom nothing happened it was an accident.”

“So he didn’t try anything? At all?” she sounded shocked

“No, why do you sound like you’re shocked?”

“Well he’s really handsome and you’re like turning into such a beautiful young lady,” her voice cracked 

Oh god she’s going to start crying

“Mom thanks but uh please don’t cry this time but did you want him to make a move?”

“Well...”

“Then why’d you kick him out.” I asked as I sat down on the couch she sat down with me

“I didn’t want to show him that I will just let him have you without my consent, plus I was kind of steamed over the whole position you two were in.”

I blushed “that was an accident.”

“I know.”

There was an awkward silence for a while then mom spoke up

“Well I’m going to go to bed. Don’t stay up too late, you have school tomorrow and you can’t miss it.”

I rolled my eyes “ok mom night.” She walked out of the room into her bedroom

I walked upstairs and put some pajamas on which was a black T-shirt and some baggy grey sweat pants and turned on some music then went to lie on my bed. When I did I saw Aiolos lying beside me I jumped.

He laughed “hey Aglaia.”  

“Hey Aiolos” I got back on the bed

“What’d your mom say?”

“That she knew nothing happened she just wanted to keep up her poker face to let you know that she wasn’t playing.” I sat there looking at him

“Hmm, well anyway I wanted to know what had happened when you went to get an orange.”

“Oh I slid on the floor in the kitchen and jumped to the living room.”

“And landed on me squeezing ‘oh so tightly’” he mimicked my mom

“Yeah, sorry about that”

“It’s cool, you were scared and you thought of me. How cute” He teased

“I did not.” I blushed

His eyebrows rose “uh huh sure you didn’t. You’re actually kind of cute when you blush.” He smirked  

My face got even more heated “yeah whatever.”

“You are you’re so cute.” He grinned

I looked at my hands and found an interest in my nails when he started to get up and look around my room.

“Your room is kind of gloomy.” He turned to me

“Why does everyone say that? I mean just because the colors are blue to black doesn’t mean it’s gloomy.”

“Ok you have a point. What are we listening to?” he turned to my cd player and speakers

“Skillet - awake and alive.”

“I like it.”

We stayed up talking about random stuff like, our favorite bands, movies and ice cream. Until I noticed it was 3:32am I was getting tired but I didn’t say anything.

“So why don’t you want to go home?” I asked as he sat on my bed

“Some things are happening there and I don’t like to be in the middle of it.”

I frowned I hope nothing too bad is happening there.

“But it’ll all blow over soon. Then I’ll go back.”

“Hmm ok well you can come here if you need somewhere to hang.” I smirked at him

He smirked back “I’ll take you up on that offer.” He yawned then laid on my bed

I got up from my bed and went to my closet and got the bear out “you know that teddy bear from the kitchen?” I turned around to see Aiolos asleep in my bed he looked like a little angel asleep there, but where was I going to sleep?

There’s enough room for you to squeeze in there. My conscience

I think I should just wake him up I mean he won’t want to sleep on my bed

It seems like he does to me. Your tired just go to bed, stay up any later and you’ll over sleep.

My conscience was right but could I actually sleep with a guy?

You don’t need to worry about you mom you know she won’t come in here. And what’s sleeping with a guy, you two are just sleeping. Nothing more

I gave in to my conscience. I went to turn off my cd player and my lights then I slipped into bed laying with my back to Aiolos then I drifted to sleep.
