Toni's POV

It was nothing more than a typical Monday morning. The sun was shining delicately through the tiny gaps between the closed blinds. Birds were chirping outside which we could hear only a little from inside the house. Cheryl and I were wrapped up in our bed together, just waking up after a goodnights sleep.

"Good morning, babe." I smiled tiredly at her as I brushed her hair out of her face. "How'd you sleep?"

"Good morning, Tee-Tee, and I slept fine." She smiled back. "Now pretend to be asleep."

"Oh yeah." I giggled and closed my eyes. Right on cue we heard a door open down the hall and footsteps pounding towards our room, then our door was flung open and our two children flew into our bed.

"Moms! Wake up!" They yelled as they shook us.

We have two beautiful children, Aiden and Quinn. They're twins and they are 6 years old. Cheryl and I decided when we were thinking about children that we wanted to adopt, so we got a file put together and sent it to the adoption agency. After a few months of waiting, we were called saying that a young pregnant woman was looking to put her babies up for adoption and she looked through our file and wanted to meet with us, and then after the meeting she decided that she wanted us to have her twins. We got to be there when they were born and we were so thrilled to get to see them. Now we can't imagine our lives without them.

"Is it time to get up already?" I asked as I smiled and rubbed my eyes, pretending to be sleepy to humor them. I looked on my side of the bed and saw Aiden smiling back at me. He then crawled closer as I leaned forward and engulfed him in a hug.
