"So, let me get this straight. You went on a date with Clem?" Marlon asked. He genuinely didn't think his best friend had the balls to.
"Well, I guess you'd call it that." Louis replied as he rubbed the back of his neck. "And how'd it go?" Marlon asked as he laid back in his chair. "Pretty good, I'd say." He replied, nodding his head in satisfaction. "Hm... Do you think she'll talk to the rest of us?"
"Uhm, maybe. I'm not sure." Louis lowered his voice. "Why don't you ask her? You have her number." Brody suggested as she snuggled up to Marlon. Louis shrugged as he looked over at his phone that sat beside him on the couch. "I don't know guys. That might be a lot to ask right now."
Marlon scoffed as he shook his head, "Come on Lou, you could at least ask her. You don't have to be so upfront about it. Just ask her what she's planning on doing today. Maybe see if we can go chill together, just the four of us. Just make some conversation first. You know?" Louis raised his brow at his friend, "Alright, whatever. I'll call her, see what's she's doing. I'll try and see if I can ask her about it. But no promises, okay?"
Louis picks up his phone and calls Clementine, she answers his call straight away.
"Hey Lou, what's up?"
"Hi Clem. Uhm, I was just wondering if you were planning on doing anything today."
"Oh. Well I was planning on staying in for today. Lee and AJ will be out all day. I think AJ's at a sleepover, so he'll be gone until tomorrow. What're you doing today?"
"I've been at Marlon's all morning. Since you're home alone, could we come over? And Brody, if that's okay."
"Uhm, if they want. I'm surprised they'd still want to talk to me after... I ignored them."
"Clem, it's okay. They understand."
"If you say so. Anyway, what time are you coming over?"
"As soon as we're ready. If that's okay with you."
"Yeah, I guess. I'll see you soon?"
"Alright, bye Clem."
"Bye Louis."
Louis waited for her to cancel the call before he laid his phone back on the couch, right beside his legs. "Alright, I guess we're going to her house." Louis spoke as he held a wide grin. "I literally told you to ask if she'd talk to everyone, but this is something... I guess." Marlon muttered as he shook his head. Louis chuckled as he grabbed his bag and other belongings, "You guys coming or what?"
"Do we have to bring something or...?" Marlon asked as he lifted from his chair and raided his cupboards.
"Well, I was just thinking to buy some snacks maybe, or even a bottle of champagne or something." Louis replied.
Brody chuckled as she lifted from the couch, "What do you think we're doing? Going to a party?"
"No, I just thought it'd be nice to bring stuff, you know?" Louis defended himself as he headed to the basement door, "Come on, we can get them on the way."

"Guess you won't need these for a long while." Marlon chuckled as he stared at a shelve with many tiny boxes. "Wha? What's that supposed to mean?" Louis questioned as he walked over towards his friend, he then looked over at the shelve, "Wow, dude. Not cool." Marlon picked up one of the boxes that contained rubber rings. "It is true though. You've gotta admit." Marlon shrugged as he put the box back. "You didn't have to rub it in." Louis rolled his eyes as he strolled off into the next isle.
