"Clementine! Clementine, where are you?" Yelled a deep voice. "Clem, I think Lee is back." Louis whispered as he tapped her shoulder. Clementine looked up at the dread head lazily as she slowly drifted off again. "Clem, what if he finds us?" He asked quietly as he rubbed her arm. "What are you on about?" She asked as she peered up at his worried face. "Lee is calling you. I think he's outside." Clementine then lifted up and crawled over to the tiny wooden door. "Lee?" She called.

She then saw him quickly walk over towards her. "Oh, there you are. I just wanted to tell you that I've left you something to eat in the microwave. I'm staying at Carly's tonight. You can take care of yourself, right?" He spoke as he stood at the bottom of the ladder. "Sure. Just tell me when you're coming back." Lee nodded as he turned and strolled back into the house. Clementine pulled her head back into the tiny wooden structure and gazed over at Louis. His expression said it all.

"Is he gone?" He asked heavy breathed. "Yeah, he's gone. Why are you so scared for?" Louis raised his brow as he rubbed his neck, "I don't know, he just kinda scares me. He looks like he could crush me if he needed to, and frankly, I want to keep my precious face." He smirked. Clementine rolled her eyes as she looked down at all the junk that laid on the floor. "How was your-" She then looked at her phone to check the time. "Two hour nap?" She asked. "I mean, it was okay. Probably would've been better on a bed. But a treehouse is fine too." Clementine giggled at his response as she pushed open the small door, "I'm going back inside to eat. You coming?" Louis pinched his nonexistent beard before following the girl out of the treehouse and back inside.

"Hm, he left me sausages and fries. You can have some too, if you'd like." She then pulled out a plate and laid the food on it. Louis sneakily reached over to one of the fries and stuffed it in his mouth, just as she wasn't looking. "Mm, they're good!" He exclaimed quietly as he grabbed a few more. "Just go back into my room, I'll bring it up. Grab two drinks from the fridge while you're here." Louis then strolled over and picked up two cans and dashed back upstairs. Clementine glared at the plate, questioning if there were more the last time she looked. She ended up shrugging off her thoughts and travelling to her room.

Once she mad it, Louis was sitting down at her desk and peering into her fish bowl. "You never told me you had a fish." He spoke, almost as if she'd betrayed him. "What? Do I have to tell you everything that happens, or happened in my life?" She asked sarcastically as she sat down on her bed. "Well, no. But I'd like you to tell me everything. I'd tell you everything... maybe." He chuckled awkwardly as he joined her on the bed. "What's its name?" He asked. "Peanut, he's a boy. I think." She replied as she picked up one of the sausages and took a huge bite.

Louis' eyes were wide as he watched her do so, "Don't do that, what if you choke? Lee'll definitely hate me then." His stupid comment ended up making her do that very thing. "Clem, are you okay?" He gasped as he patted her back lightly. "I'm... fine." She whispered, tying to get herself back together, "What you said made me laugh, idiot." Louis grinned slightly as he grabbed more fries. "So, Lee's your babysitter. I'm guessing he's here for your brother since you're old enough to look after yourself, I mean we all are." He shrugged, "But, where are your parents? If you don't mind me asking." He questioned. "They're on a business trip together. They'll be back before Christmas, I hope."

Louis nodded as he gave her a reassuring smile. "If they're not back, which I hope they will be. You can hang with me on Christmas. My dad doesn't really bother with it anymore so it's normally a average day for me. We don't even talk to the rest of the family anymore so I don't even have to buy presents." He replied. She raised a brow at his statement, "So, you don't celebrate Christmas?" She asked. "Well as a 'young adult' presents are not really something to look forward to anymore. It's mainly about spending time with the people you care about, and I only have my dad. He doesn't bother do anything so I don't either." He replied truthfully. "Oh, I'm sorry." She spoke, "You could come here for Christmas, if my parents let you. And if they're back in time." Louis grinned as he laid back on her bed. "That'd be fun."
