"Wha-?" Louis gasped, "Clem, I find that hard to believe..." Clementine sat down beside the clearly frustrated man. "Wow, thanks." She huffed as she folded her arms and looked the other way. "I'm sorry Clem." He apologized while laying his hand on her thigh, "I-I-I wish you'd told me earlier." Clementine looked at him with furrowed brows. "Louis, I- don't- like- Mitch!" She hissed, slapping his hand away. "So, what was that kiss about? I saw both of you at the mall, what you did." He confronted as he looked into her amber eyes. "He... kissed... me! He even told me about you lying to me." Clementine replied. Louis scoffed lightly as he frowned, "So, you didn't kiss him back?" He asked, "And I've never lied to you Clem, why would I?" Clementine rolled her eyes as she lifted from the couch and strolled into the kitchen. She then grabbed a glass cup from the cabinet and poured the blood red champagne Louis had given her previously. "Mhm.. And how am I supposed to believe you?" She muttered as she leaned up against the marble island.
Louis stood up from the couch and followed her to the kitchen. "I-I don't know right now. I-." He sighed as he stood in front of her, "I- I like you too..." He spoke as a slight smile curved at the end of his lips. "Louis, Mitch told me that you lied about breaking up with Sophie. If this is true, you're better off packing your bag and leaving, right now." She spoke firmly, trying not to get caught up by his charm. "You don't mean that. And just so you know, I did break up with her. You can even ask Marlon, if you don't believe me." He gazed into her amber eyes as he spoke, purring almost. She rolled her eyes as she sipped from the cup. Louis had to admit she was cute when she was angry.
He grabbed the glass out of her hand and laid it on the counter behind her, making a thud sound as he did. "Hey! That's mine-" She growled. Louis then cupped her cheek as he shushed her with his lips. The taste of champagne still present. Clementine lightly pushed his chest trying to make him go away, she was still mad at him for assuming she had feelings for Mitch. The thought of him made her stomach turn, especially thinking about the way he spoke to her, he was revolting.
Her strength was nothing against Louis', it just seemed as if he was going in the kiss even deeper. Light moans left their lips as Clementine wrapped her arms around his head. She felt guilty about what they were doing, but she also felt that she wanted it, she wanted him. Besides, she didn't have anything to feel guilty for, he was single, well she hoped anyway.
Louis' injured hand slowly lowered to her hip, he used this to pull her close to him, a light chuckle escaped her mouth as he did so. He could tell she was enjoying this, but Louis was such a tease. He ended up pulling her away, leaving her breathless. "How could I stay mad at a face like that?" He chuckled as he caressed her cheek, making it light up at his touch.
A horrified expression was drawn all over Clementine's face as a dark figure stood in the kitchen doorway. Louis peered into Clementine's amber eyes; he witnessed the horror deep within them. He swiftly turned around to see the dark-bearded man, jaw and fists clenched tight. Louis could sense the fire from his dark eyes, it was as if he could feel them heating the very room, he stood in. Louis tried his best to get his words out, but he couldn't. He ended up rambling a great mess. "Get out!" Lee bellowed as he darted his eyes towards the boy. "I-I- I'm sorry, I was just leaving." Louis stammered, trying his best to keep his composure. Lee's eyes followed the dreaded teen as he quickly darted out towards the front door.
"Clementine, what have I told you about boys!?" He spoke, nearly yelling. Clementine quickly hid the glass cup behind her as the tall man crossed his muscly arms. "Uh- how long were you standing there?" She questioned. "Long enough to know that he's no friend." He spoke, "I thought I could trust you, sweet pea. Your parents trusted me to take care of you, make sure you don't get into any trouble. How am I supposed to tell them that you let some boy in the house?" He complained; his eyes were wide as if he were waiting for an answer. "Lee, he's just my friend. My parents wouldn't even mind me inviting a friend over. I'm an adult now Lee, I'm not the same age as I was the last time, you'd seen me." She replied. Most of what was true, besides the 'he's just my friend' part. Lee had heard enough and frankly he didn't like the idea of telling her off.
