A tall person reached out for the wall, but instead, latches onto Clementine's shoulder. In one swift motion, she swung her elbow straight towards the suspected victim, causing him to groan. The whole time she kept her precious food in hand.
She looked up before looking back at the tall person who stood not too far behind her. Her eyes opened wide as she stared upon him, his face showed nothing but agony. His short hair held beads of water, and the towel that had fallen from around his waist was damp. Not only that, his cheeks were quite rosy as if he were embarrassed.
The teen quickly bent down to pull his towel back up to his waist as quick as possible, before holding his hand over his now bloody nose.
"Oh, my god. I'm so sorry-" She stammered as she stepped back a few steps.
"I knew you could fight your own battles, but sheesh. Where'd that come from?" Duck chuckled as he wiped the blood away from his nose.
"I- I've just been a little jumpy recently."
The both had now noticed Louis standing in the archway of the living room, finger laying on the light switch. His face was just as confused as you'd think.
"Are we not going to talk about the fact his towel dropped? Or am I just seeing things now?" He raised a sharp brow as he looked at the both of them. He wore nothing but an old thrashers t-shirt and some
boxer shorts."I'd rather not." Duck chuckled nervously. He then slowly pushed past the two and dashed up the stairs. "Uh- goodnight guys."
"You really didn't have to mention it-" Clementine whispered to Louis as she shook her head.
"I didn't mean to get him embarrassed, I just thought you didn't see."
"I do have eyes you'know. Right now, I really wish I didn't." She huffed.
"Wow- poor guy." He chuckled.
"I didn't mean it like that-"
"I know, don't worry." He smiled as he looked at what she held in her arms. "That's a lot of food. Care to share?"
Clementine looked back at her little collection before shaking her head, "Number one rule in this house: nobody is allowed to eat Clem's food." She smirked deviously.
"If nobody's allowed, you should put that back." He jokes.
"What? Okay okay- nobody BUT Clem is allowed to eat Clem's food. Make sense now?"
He smiles back a reply as she makes her way back up the stairs, "Goodnight weirdo."
Thump, thump, thump.
Clementine felt as if she were asleep, but awake at the same time. The thumping sounds she could hear got louder and louder. It started to intertwine with sounds of crying. The sounds were familiar. It were the cries of herself.
The noises were repeating themselves and more was added into it. She could hear yelling, yet it was fuzzy and she couldn't quite make out what was being said.
Her eyes felt as if they were open. She could see the ceiling of her room. The plain white- it slowly bled into grey.
It felt as if devilish creatures were climbing into her ears and delving deep into her mind. Her breathing became heavy and she tried calling out for help... but it didn't work.
It was if she was strapped on her bed, not being able to control her body. It was as if her soul had lost connection, and it was trapped in another bubble.
