                         ~Santi's POV~

Ida keeps herself close to me while we look up at the ceiling. My hand runs up and down her smooth arm. She traces the lines of my rib tattoo. I remember my mom was so disappointed in me when I showed her Zurines work. She wasn't ever going to allow me to do it, so I went behind her back. At least now I have no regrets of it; it's something to remember my dad by.
"Ida!" A deep and awfully familiar voice says from the other side of the door. I shout up, immediately recognizing her dad's voice. His voice makes my skin crawl. He's arrested me more times than I can count even though he never found me actually ever doing anything.
"Wait a minute," Ida calls back with more attitude than I was expecting, although, I hadn't expected any at all. She looks back at me, grabbing the dress she had been wearing. Gosh, I hate that thing.
"What happened with you guys?" I whisper, putting my clothes back on. She shakes her head, looking at herself in the mirror to fix her appearance the best she can.
"It's a long story," she says. I decide to drop it, figuring that if it was important she would tell me. "Thank for explaining everything." I kiss her forehead, grabbing my phone.
"Thank you for listening...and other things." Her face grows red again for the millionth time tonight. "Do me a favor?"
    "Depends."
"Burn this fucking dress. I still stand by what I said at the party," I tell her with a sweet smile. She looks down at it, looking just as confused as she did earlier.
"I still don't know what that even is." I chuckle, opening the window.
"Let's keep it that way, Birdy," I say, using my little pet name for her. She sighs, looking back at her door that's knob is wiggling.
"I'm getting dressed!" She shouts. I lean down and press my lips to hers. After what we just did, I don't think I'll be able to keep my hands off for a long time. That was definitely the best sex I've ever had and not just because this time I was sober, but emotional connection makes it so much better.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" She nods, licking her lips. She closes the window behind me. I jog down the stairs. Once I'm down, I'm scared for my life. A German Shepard is standing directly in front of me, snarling loudly. Oh fuck. Where was this monster when I first got here? It barks, making me jump. Turning around, I make a run for it, automatically hearing it come after me. Shit shit shit shit.
I hope over their short fence, unlocking my car with the button on my keys. Thankfully the chain on the dog is too short to come after me. I get in my car and shakily start it. I thought that was the end of me.

I open the door to my sister's house, using the key she gave me after our mom died. It's late and I'm too tired to drive all the way to my apartment, so I'm staying here. The scene before me is worse than that damn dog was. My sister and Luz jump apart from each other, my sister covering herself with the grow blanket while he just uses his hands.
"What the fuck?" I say in shock. My sister is a lot of things, but a cheater never crossed my mind. Both their heads snap over to the bedroom door that opens, Adriel stepping out with literally nothing on. I clap my hands over my eyes. I feel like a child who accidentally walked in on their parents, only I just walked in on my sister having a threesome with her husband and ex-boyfriend therapist. I think I'm gonna be sick.
"Santi!" My sister yells in shock. I rush out of the house, running to my car. I'll just call her in the morning, maybe. After what I just walked in on I'm fine with not talking for a few months. That image is horrid and disgusting. She's not allowed to have sex. So what if she's the older one, it's not allowed.

"Santiago Florencio," a nerving voice says from behind me when I come out of my apartment. I turn around from locking my door to see Ida's dad against his cop car. Oh shit.
"What are you gonna assume I did now?" I ask, unlocking my car. He shakes his head, coming closer. I know that if he wouldn't get in trouble for it, he shoot me right now.
"It's not assuming anything after what happened last night," he says. Wait, does he know?
"That's none of your business," I tell him. Maybe talking back to him isn't the smartest idea, but if it came down to it, I'm faster with the trigger.
"It is though. You are to stay away from my daughter. You hear me?" I laugh, finding it funny that he really think I'll listen. Especially after last night, I won't be staying away.
"I can't do that...Officer. I'm sorry, but if I don't leave now I'll be late for my first class." He places his hand on the door so I can't open it. If I really wanted to, I know I'm stronger than him.
"You hurt my daughter." Oh, he's talking about her crying earlier. That just makes this even funnier to me because of how stupid I am.
"Trust me," I start, "the last thing I did was hurt her." The memories of her and I last night sneak their way to my mind. Her small and quiet moans were music to my fucking ears. She wanted me just as I did her.
"She came home last night crying because of you," he spits. I smirk, forcing the door open.
"Well, that's quite a change because if I remember correctly I had her crying out in a different way." His fave turns a violent shade of red. His hands wrap around my neck as he pushes me against my car, the veins in his neck and forehead popping out. "Funny, I had my hand wrapped around her neck to last night."
"You stay the hell away from my little girl. She doesn't need some worthless piece of shit coming into where life just to ruin it," he says. I push him away, my strength shocking him.
"Little girl, huh? You know you aren't the only one she'll be calling daddy."

When I get to school I'm ADHD as hell. This morning run in made any trace of sleep leave me and made me more energized than I would like to be for this early. Junior and Eliza are looking at me like I've grown to heads I jog to class. Mr.Cullen turns around from writing the mornings announcement on the whiteboard.
"Morning," I say, dropping down next to Ida. She got here before Eliza did, so I'm guessing her dad dropped her off then came for me. The bruise-like spot on her neck makes me smile. "I like your new accessory," I say, poking it.
Her brows pull together in confusion as she reaches into her bag and takes out her phone. She looks at her neck through the reflection of the screen. Her eyes grow wide when she sees the large hickey left on her skin.
"What if my dad saw that?" She asks, starting to panic.
"I think if he did, he would have made a point to mention it this morning when he stopped by to say good morning." How wide her eyes get tells me she didn't know about him coming to see me.
"What did he do?"
"Just practically threatened me to stay away from you," I answer. She runs her fingers through her long hair. "It's fine though, I just may have said something you might be mad about."
"What did you say?"
"Just that my hands were around your throat. And that you were crying out." She slaps my chest. I can't tell if he's mad or wants to beat my ass.
"Class is going to start." She's upset.
"Don't be mad," I say. "He was pushing me."
"I know, just lay attention. We'll talk later."

AN: And imma end it here 😂 I really hope you guys enjoyed it!
