"Put the broom away Draco we are going to Diagon Alley to gather Cassiopeia's supplies for school!" Uncle Lucius says with a pointed look towards Draco. Draco of course scurries away quickly obeying his fathers orders.

"You are too hard on him Lucius, he almost looks at you with fear. Will Narcissa be accompanying us?" My Mother says as she walks into the Manor.

Knowing that conversation would end in a minor argument Cassiopeia heads upstairs to Draco's room. Once she opens the door to his room she is hit with the scent of sunflowers, paint, and her Mothers gypsy eggs. "Got a new amortentia candle Dray?" Cassiopeia says as she sits with him on the floor.

Draco looks over at Cassiopeia with a small smile and nods at her. She knew that the candle makes him feel comfortable when his family is too hard on him. How her cousin hasn't developed any early signs of anxiety is a wonder to her. Although Draco has never told her what he smells, she still wants to know what the young boy smells. Cassiopeia and Draco start talking about small things like quidditch, food, and Hogwarts. But that's when Draco asked her a question she didn't expect from him.

"You aren't going into Slytherin are you? I've heard Nonna and you arguing over those filthy mudbloods. You don't want to get into Slytherin so why do you act like it?" Draco says in an almost small whisper as if someone is going to hear them. Cassiopeia looks at the picture of her and Draco on the dresser in front of her and sighs. Draco might be young but nothing gets past him when it comes to Cassiopeia.

"No Dray I don't think I am going to make it into Slytherin I just don't exactly act like the Slytherin my family wants me to be. I of course want to make into Slytherin to make Nonna and Mum proud of me. But something in me just knows that the Slytherin path just isn't one I'm going to end up walking down. Which is okay Dray don't think that you have to make it into the house your family wants you to. You are allowed to be your own person. But I know you are going to be a great Slytherin Dray so you have nothing to worry about." Cassiopeia ends as she ruffles up Draco's hair.

When they finally arrive to Diagon Alley Cassiopeia looks around with wonder in her eyes. Of course she's been here before with her Mother but never as a future Hogwarts student. Walking around Diagon Alley definitely caused people to pull their attention towards them. The Ardizonne's weren't often see on the streets especially with the Malfoys. The pathway erupted with whispers as they headed to buy Cassiopeia her robes. When they entered the shop Cassiopeia could smell the scent of new fabrics and see measuring tapes floating in midair.

An old women with robes on her arms and measuring tape around her neck walks up to her Mother. "Ah Ms. Adrizonne what a pleasant surprised to see you in my shop once more! I suspect you are here to pick up robes for your beautiful daughter here!" The women smiles and gestures to some seats in front of what looks like a dressing room. "Please take a seat I will be right with you all. Seems like everyone wants to buy robes from me this evening!" The women says as she spins around to deal with another family who had walked in.

"Father when will I get the chance to go to Hogwarts! Why can't I go with Oppie?" Draco says looking up to his Father. Cassiopeia and her Mother chuckle to each other seeing Uncle Lucius annoyed face. "Because Draco dear you are not of age yet. You will have your chance to go to Hogwarts when you get to your 11th birthday." Mother says with a wink. Then the owner walks up to them with 3 different robes following after her. "I've brought options for you Cassiopeia!" The women says with excitement.

Getting her robes was easy, getting her books was easy, everything was pretty easy but Cassie was nervous about getting her wand. Her family made it very obvious that getting her wand was the most important part in being a wizard. So when the family walked into Ollivanders wand shop Cassiopeia's nerves skyrocketed. Ollivander simply gave her a smile and waved her over to the front desk. "I've been anticipating your arrival Ms. Cassiopeia" he gave her heartwarming smile that started to feel better. The first wand he gave her was a 8in. Cherry wood with a Dragon core when she gave it a small shake her entire family was sent flying across the room. Ollivander gave her a shaky smile and took back the wand "So it's definitely not that one".

It took few tries until they were able to find the right wand for her and her family was getting restless. Cassiopeia was beginning to think it was hopeless trying to find a wand for her. But then brought out a wand to her, the moment Ollivander took it out of it's box she began to feel a pull towards it. "I think this just might be the perfect match for you my dear" He said as he handed the wand to her. The second she put her hands on it she felt as if she was floating as if she was dandelion in the wind. Cassiopeia gave the wand a small shake and beautiful white butterflies started to fly around the shop. Cassiopeia was beaming as she turned around to her family. She was proud of herself for finally find a wands that fits her perfectly. Her mother smiled back at her, she was also very  proud of her daughter for taking her first big step in becoming a young wizard. "An 11in. Larch wood with a Phoenix core wand to which I am very happy to find a happy home for. Take care of it my dear" Ollivander said as he put her new wand back into it's proper box and handed it back to her. With her wand in hand Cassiopeia was very excited to start her new journey at Hogwarts.

The last thing she needed was a pet and they were done for the day. Cassiopeia was starting to get tired and her legs were also starting to hurt from walking around so much. "Will I have to spend so much time getting stuff when I go to school?" Draco asks. "Yes darling you will but this is the easy part." My Mother says smiling as him. When they finally arrived at the pet shop as Cassiopeia's went wide at all the animals that they have. They of course had owls, cats, frogs, and mice. But what had really caught her eye were the snakes they had in the back of the shop. She new they weren't allowed at Hogwarts but at the moment she didn't care, she wanted to look at the fascinating slithery creatures. She was amazed at all of the different patterns that the snakes had, each one more unique than the other. As she was marveling at the different types of snakes the shop keep came up to her. "Not many are into snakes, they say that they dangerous animals. But I think they are amazing animals to keep as pets. Do you think you're up for the challenge?" The shop keep says to her with an amused look. It wasn't often that little kids came in and ran straight for the slithery animals with such a look of wonder as Cassiopeia. She eagerly nodded at the shop keep hoping that he would help her find the right one for her.

After a few minutes of looking at different types of snakes which ones were good first time snakes. Together they decided on a 2 year old pied ball python that was about 3 feet long. Draco looks at her as if she was insane. "You actually want a living snake as your pet? Are you insane? Oppie look at it!" Draco says slightly scared as the snake tries to move towards him. Cassiopeia laughs as she puts the snake into her proper enclosure. She and the shop keep discuss proper treatment and payment for her new snake. When the deal was done Cassiopeia couldn't stop smiling at her new pet. "What are you going to name her?" The shop keep says looking at the excited young girl in front of him. He knew of her descent, he recognized her family, but he couldn't help but notice that she was different from her family. He admired the small girl for despite of the prejudice ways of her her family she was still smiling and full of hope. " I think I'm going to name her Pretzel" Cassiopeia say smiling up at the shop keep before leaving.

Finally being done shopping for her supplies the two families went their separate ways. Cassiopeia gave Draco a small hug after seeing the worried look on his face when he heard they had to leave. "I'll be okay Dray" Cassiopeia whispers into his ear. "But what if you aren't okay?" Draco whispers back.

"Then I'll find a way to be okay Dray" Cassiopeia says walking off with her mother. And find a way the young girl did.

A/N: I'm very sorry for never updating. I've busy dealing with a lot of personal issues and I sort of lost the motivation to write. But I plan on continuing the fanfic and continuing Cassie's story. I have so much planned for her I just need to get the timeline straight. Now that I've graduated I'll have bit more time to write. Anyway I hope you enjoy the small update.
