You laid on your couch, holding a heating pad to your stomach. You had gotten your period yesterday, and it is the worst.
As a particularly painful cramp hit you, you decided to call up your boyfriend, Hobi. You understood that he is constantly busy, but you appreciate how he tries to squeeze time in for the two of you.
It rang about three times before you were greeted by the cheerful voice of your boyfriend.
"Hey baby! Why are you calling so late? It's nearly midnight." Hobi asked you.
"I have the WORST cramps right now. I can't move without something in my body hurting. Hell, I don't even have to move for something to hurt." You whimpered into the phone as another wave of cramps hit you.
"Are you okay?! We just ended practice. Want me to pick up anything on my way over there, baby?" You could tell that concern for you laced his melodic voice.
"Wait you don't need to come over!" You said in a panic. "Oppa, I know how busy you are! You just ended practice, right? You're tired! Get rest!"
"We can get rest together, once I'm over there. Do you need anything?"
There was a pause from you before you answered. "...(f/f) ice cream, please..." You shyly told him.
"Alright. I'll be there as soon as I can. I love you baby!" And that was all you heard before you heard the beeping that signaled the end of the call.
You sighed as you lightly tossed your phone onto the ottoman. You honestly just wanted to call him so you can get your mind off of your cramps, but you should've known that your caring and wonderful boyfriend would've done something like this.
Suddenly feeling gross, you turned off the tv and decided to take a shower. Before you got in though, you remembered that Hobi is coming over, so you wrote a note saying for him not to worry if you didn't answer, and for him to let himself in.
By the time you were done your shower, you exited the bathroom and saw how he was putting the ice cream he bought you into the freezer. You also saw how he literally bought so many pints of your favorite ice cream. You could feel yourself tearing up at how much of a kind boyfriend Hobi really is.
"I don't deserve you," You sniffled as you came up to him and gave him a back hug.
"Hey baby," He smiled before turning around and kissing the top of your head. "Want to have ice cream while we watch FRIENDS?" He softly asked you as he tightly hugged you back.
"I love you so much." You sniffled again as you looked up and into your eyes. He knew that was your way of saying yes.
He gave you one last kiss on the top of your head before sending you off to go back to your living room, promising you that he'll be there momentarily.
As you got emotional over how much you love your caring boyfriend, you headed back to the couch. Once you got there, you turned off the heating pad, moved it on to the love seat, and turned yourself into a blanket burrito.
As Hobi was walking into the living room with two bowls in his hands, he smiled fondly upon seeing the sight of you swaddled in the many blankets you had. He thought you were the cutest thing he had ever laid eyes on, and he knew he wanted to propose to you soon.
As you were trying to find the last episode you watched of FRIENDS, you heard the 'clang' of the ceramic bowls of ice cream hitting the surface of your glass side table. Not too long after that, you felt the couch dip besides you as Hobi sat down.
Once you found the episode you needed to watch next, you laid your head on Hobi's shoulder.
"What episode is this?" He asked as he reached over for the bowls.
"It's where Joey and Chandler are playing Monica and Rachel for their apartment." You said as Hobi handed you your rather large bowl of your favorite ice cream. He settled for a small bowl of vanilla.
As the two of you sat watching FRIENDS, your bowls of ice cream slowly dwindled. It was when the episode you were on finished when you felt the sudden need to use the bathroom.
"Fuck no please not now no!" You said in a panic as you tossed (a/n: yeeted-) the blankets off of you and raced to the bathroom. Hobi immediately became worried when he saw you rush off to the bathroom.
"Jagi, are you ok?" He asked through the bathroom door.
"Yeah I'm just.... Heavy flow will be the end of me..." You complained.
"Need me to get you pain meds?"
"Nah, I took some an hour ago. I can't have anymore right now."
You were in the bathroom for a few seconds more before opening the bathroom door with a sigh. Hobi could tell you were getting tired. He kissed you all over your face, making you giggled as he did so, before picking you up bridal style.
"Let's put you bed, beautiful. I know you're tired." He whispered as he wandered back to the living room couch. He gently sat you down as he went to put the now empty bowls into the sink.
When he came back, he sat down on the couch and pulled you on top of him. He pulled a large, (f/c) blanket on top of the two of you. You quickly fell asleep, since he felt so warm, and since the beating of his heart was soothing you entirely, also in combination to the way he wrapped his arms protectively around you.
Minutes later, after hearing the soft sounds escaping your parted lips of you being asleep, he smiled fondly at you once again before losing his eyes and falling asleep to the dream of having a future with you.
